Nah, I tend to just create my character in the moment and just sort of get "inspired" by the looks and go from there. The only someones I may try to create are characters I have come up with myself from my own stories, I think it'd take me out of it if my Quizzy looked too much like someone in RL or in a show.
Are you going to model your Inquisitor after someone?

I usually don't but this time around I kinda thought I'd try for a Godfrey Gao or Kieron Richardson look-alike in my human playthrough
(partially so that not every hero Thedas has during the Dragon Age just so happens to be a young blue-eyed,dark-haired, (relatively) fair-skinned man with stubble. And if I can't get away from playing a human male in my first playthrough this will have to do)
but the thing is: I'm terrible when it comes to CC:
A) I definitely want to be done in under 5 minutes and
B)I fall in love with various looks on the way to getting my dream character

I'm going to model one of my Inquisitors after Julius Caesar. This one.
Remember he was balding and blonde or was he a ginger?
I got a couple of ideas for my Inquisitors, usually a human that kind of looks like Clint Eastwood?

Well for Human Males i always make them look like myself , For the rest (Non-Humans and Females) I just make them look as fitting to my character idea as i like.

My first playthrough will be an elf mage, I have a few images of the kind of thing I am going for
For my human warrior Inquisitor I am going for this look...
and for my Qunari mage.....
That's as far as I have gotten.

If I did it would be purely within the CC, I doubt that Inquisitor would become a playthrough. My actual Inquisitors will be as original as I can make them. I am very anxious to see what people far more talented than I can do with it, though.

My femquisitor will look like whatever I decide her to look like within the limits of the charcter creator.

I'm not very good at CCs as I really lack both patience and the talent needed to be creative. If mods or codes are available, I take inspiration from one I like or just use them directly with some of my own tweaks. Otherwise I just go with whatever looks decent to me while I fiddle around with the CC, though I usually have some vague idea what I want them to look like. Some of my characters are indeed inspired by the look of celebrity, fictional characters or rarely an idealized version of myself, but once again I lack the talent to do that kind of replication so they only have a passing resemblance.

Will model each one to the DAO, DA2 story I use. Some kinship to the land they came from.

With something resembling classy hair from ME in the CC I'm tempted to try and recreate my Shepard. Could probably recreate my Warden as well as the CC seems so diverse. Then again I may stick to the original plan and make her look like Alix Wilton Regan and name her Samantha. ![]()

SetecAstronomy approves +10.
Now that we have a CC that can make gorgeous faces of color, Elba is a must. I just hope the English voice actor has a deep enough range. As for female Inq's, I always start with a nice Natalie Portman base, sprinkle in a pinch of Monica Belluci, and some Lena Heady on the side.

It also helps that you have greater customization of eyes. May give my inquisitor Elba eyes. The sort of eyes you stare into and think "wow, I understand the universe"

My original plan was to make the Inquisitor similar to myself, but unfortunatelly the player character can't get that fat. So I'll just pick a preset and mold the face to my liking!
