Honestly, if I could, I would.  Some people amaze me at how talented they are with sliders to get a close likeness to a popular person who looks good.  I'm just lucky to work off the presets and find something that pleases me.

 

I guess making your own character is more rewarding, but I can't say I'd mind a character that looked like some of the famous girls I think are gorgeous.

It wasn't the plan, but when i think about it... my Qunari rouge does remind me a bit of Letho from 'The witcher 2'

I'm going to model my human mage inquisitor after this handsome guy.  And I'm going to name him after the character too.  It will be glorious.

I never really model my characters after anyone, famous or not - not even myself. I feel closer to my character if I do it based on instinct as I play around with the sliders. Though I do intend to see what I can make of the other races and genders before creating my real 1:st playthrough Inquisitor (a female elven mage). It will hopefully allow me to practice with the CC enough that I'll be able to produce an appearance that I'm happy with for my female elf.

For me, I will decide when I sit to play the game.  And I will probably spend hours in the CC alone.  I will need to create a male and female character for all the races.
