Lagertha
good choice!
I will go with Janina Gavankar for my Trevelyan mage, Hayley Atwell for my Cadash rogue and Luke Newberry is going to be a Lavellan Inquisitor.

The Inq that's taken the most shape so far is a female Cadash that's a cross between Sigrun, Dworkin, and Pippin from LotR. Floki from Vikings is the inspiration for my male qunari mage. I'll draw a lot from Lagertha when I do a female warrior, but I want to play a rogue and a mage first.

Going to make a human noble archer with a witty personality. Going to name him Oliver.

I am all over the place with looks and who to model them after.
Quite obviously I am going with this gent as my first male character:

However, I will definitely make a lot more including: one of myself and one completely random by closing my eyes and moving meters around willy-nilly. One more based solely on imagination and look. This will be the one I will most likely spend the most time on.
For female-quisitors, I gonna make 2:
Elf:

Qunari (and I know it's very cliche but..)

I also have been toying with the idea of making facings based on the BSN people here on the forums. I've gotten to know some of them pretty well, and thought it would be a cool to see if they could be recreated. I think once the game comes out, I am going to create a thread where you can post your own picture, and have other BSNers create a character based on your picture.

After i've had my fill of the game serious mode... in every game that has CC i try my best to make a character that looks as much like Samuel Jackson as possible
(Best so far has been ME2 Samuel Shepard)

I'll probably try to go somewhere in this direction, in terms of look, attitude and general feel, for my human female mage ...
Self-confident and capable, a bit broken inside, and a tad insane maybe, yet intelligent, beautiful but not in a boring perfect anime-barbie-kinda way...I wonder if the char-creator let's me get close to her looks though

It wasn't the plan, but when i think about it... my Qunari rouge does remind me a bit of Letho from 'The witcher 2'
Size and strength mixed with the incredible speed of a rouge.
You could totally make Letho as it seems any BIG BEEF SUPREME looking faces are easiest to make. The presets are Horrible but IT DOES MATTER WHICH PRESET YOU USE to a small extent however. I think there is a lack of control over the slider IMO. The headshapes that are good are flat faced and the other headshapes are just irregular... an ridiculous. One with huge puffed out cheeks and cheek bones. Another who looks like he belongs in a cartoon, one that is very Triangle esque and sems Ideal at first but can get flat faced when you try to even out the edges of you jowls and cheeks.
I like characters with very distinguished strong features but Ive already deleted two level 7 characters (Which took me awhile as I did a lot in the hnterlands. All camps, the farm, got a horse, found items, dungeons, acquired agents, etc. I had 26 power and almost 2 inquisition perks but got sick of conversations where "Face palm" my character looks so out of place like he was picked up at a walmart.
The only Hairstyle I can use is the buzzcut or the "Messy" grown out cut and only two or three headshapes work for the mop top fade which I can see how one might get it to look right but for some reason only a few headshapes are actually round while the othes are very rigid an flat also the other buzzcutt witht the widows peak thing don't sit right on top of heads. makes everyone look like they are balding or have a weird ass hairline.
Funny things to complain about but ive just never had this much frustration from a CC system. In Dark souls I remembered my sliders ad just made the same characters with the three hairstyles that worked. They served ther purpose plus I wasn't in conversation. In other games there where presets that covered a wide range of looks instead of a wide range of weird, deformed, flat head, peanut head, cartoon face head, and big chin jaw willy.
I pay for more presets to work from if they were like 5 bucks or something. If PC gamers can mod their characters then why cant developer/officially modified content be created to then insert into a dlc or update. Or a damn random button so I can click it till I find a preset that meets my standards and requires less time to chisel.
If I could just DRAW my characters face it would be awesome. I love to draw comics (one day hope to have some dark medieval "swords" and "sorcery" dragons and slayers" type graphic novels out their as every new graphic novel has to be some more batman , crime, superheroes and the concepts and ideas and philosophies behind good and evil and alternate universes MY GOD its boring me to tears. How about Once there was a knight who slayed people that did eveil **** because he got bored and decided "**** it ima save this damn realm" and forges a new order of knights made up of only 9 families and their family members)

Shes awesome. Was in "A dame To Kill For" as Ava. Whats her name? Are you good with recreating actors faces? or other characters faces?
