Actually that was directed towards Orlais.
Wouldn't that be directed to Antiva?

It's different. In Antiva everyone has orgies. In Orlais it's only the decadent and deluded nobility.

They fight for no flag so they seem similar enough to me.
A wandering band of soldiers that fight for coin and not flag, what are they but not mercenaries?
Their cause is irrelevant to their labeling, not their actions.
They're not fighting for coin, the Freemen are an insurrection in opposition to both sides of the civil war, whereas mercenaries (usually) fight for the highest bidder. Their formation also carries implications for the civil war in general.

difference?
Because one is hired to kill for coin, and the other just kills for coin, regardless of the fact that it may be given freely or taken?

you have a real hatred for mages, Even though if it weren't for Tevinter the Qunari would've taken thedas by now.Hardly; there would actually be civility, pomp and style.
Honestly for a culture that embraces a knock off rome; you sure lack the style of the empire.

Not really.
I view them as pretty useful in fact, they just need to be locked away when they aren't useful.

Is it just me, or is there an unusually high influx of southern profligates here in Minrathous as of late?

Ah I suppose that makes sense from a non-mage perspective, Hopefully we'll have a nice resolution to the Mage Vs Templar war this time.

nah... its a influx. I only let those who seek a better path into my circle but since deloria's attack... we've had a few templars and chantry apologists come here...Is it just me, or is there an unusually high influx of southern profligates here in Minrathous as of late?

thats nice... but is there a orgy lolWell then, tonight there will be a public ritual at the Temple of Dumat...perhaps that will disuade future incursions by reprobates and southern peasants careening about and prosthelytising with their inane gutterspeak.

Blood sacrifice is always followed by orgy. Slave girls and boys aplenty. Dumat approves of and rewards the faithful with great pleasures.

Honestly i'm conflicted, i want primitive rocketry introduced into my planned fanfic but i also don't want Gatlock be the sole thing equipped.
I mean explosive rockets would have to carry ridiculous amounts of the stuff to actually be viable as a form of offensive warfare, maybe another direction needs to be looked at.
Biological warfare isn't anywhere near a science in Thedas...that leaves chemical.
Qumak maybe...

I'm sure you also might be able to fashion some cancer dust from powdered, unprocessed Lyrium.

I'm sure you also might be able to fashion some cancer dust from powdered, unprocessed Lyrium.
Wouldn't lyrium overexposure require direct fluid contact though?
I mean; i get the idea but just not how to implement it...maybe the german approach?
Irradiated mercury was planned to be a catalyst for nuclear detonation, perhaps charged lyrium could detonate and spread it's "particles" over an area and poison those within it?
Mmm; perhaps that avenue would work.
But lyrium is expensive, i'm not sure even the Chantry would spring for just having it explode even at Tevinter.
