it is truly sad this will be the first game i can't strengthen mage blood lines, still take josie over cass.

No, but I don't have particular names, but nothing strikes me as very special about the Warden, other than the plot in which the Warden is just really lucky. But doesn't really possess any.. you know special talents and magic skills.

Because they wanted to do something different.

In all honesty, it makes more sense that the head ambassador isn't a mage. Even Vivienne, with her power, doesn't have the same aumont of connections and experiences and knowledge about other countries. Even though I'd have liked a perfect parity in warriors, mages and rogues in our party/advisor.

Between the 13 leading members of the inquisition there's still a fourth mage though .

Other then I don't think it's necessary to have every class romanceable (and I'd rather have a non human), there's a reason why Vivienne isn't. Her plot probably prevented them to write a romance (Allan hinted at this in a thread when the whole romance cast was announced), and they likely didn't want to rewrite her.

You really think so? She/He's trained by Malcolm who WAS circle trained and he doesn't come off any weaker or more unpredictable/ erratic combat-wise than say...Anders.

And hawke was trained by dad(circle mage) but did certain spells "oddly" imo (cone of cold,firestorm to name a few) this just my opinion though

Sorry, but I don't like Yandere very much. Crazy is fine until a certain treshold, and Yandere use said threshold to wipe their nose.
