*briefly shoots a glance at the qunari woman guarding Ukki*
I can see you were in...capable hands magister. I do hope that you made those fools down south suffer.
*Raises and eyebrow beneath his cowl and glances in Magister TS's direction.*
Have a good night did we? Your merry making was well earned. Live life to the fullest, gods know it is certainly deserved. I must say you had an impressive stock at this last auction, the temple is very pleased with our purchase and will no doubt be eagerly awaiting your next inventory.
I'm afriad lord saran that it will be quite a mediocre stock for the next few months, this wretched hangover prevents me from travel and thus i'm relying on my new apprentices to haggle with my antivan contacts........we will be getting stock from the south which should arrive in the next month, alas i cannot guarantee the Quality, their coming up from orlais fleeing their pitiful war and 3 months on a ship?
I'd wager most will only be good for ploughing fields (or more likely fertilising them) still though Antivans don't understand the true value of slaves so there's always profit in it, so long as the apprentices know how to haggle, haha sorry reminds me the young female apprentice Ukki sent me...... called it "merchant work" and believed a magister should only focus on spellcraft.
I made her an offer a non lethal duel, first one to be knocked off their feet loses. If she knocked me down i'd teach her spells if not she was to learn "merchant work", *snicker* she was so focused on me she didn't see my retainer grab the vase *snicker*, you should have seen the look on her face when she realised she'd been knocked out by a mundane Hahahaha. and with that she learned rule one, A good magister needs more than just spells in their arsenal. *bursts out laughing* oh how she dropped, you should have seen it. *wipes away tear* funniest thing i've seen in months.
