I vote to keep it and encase it in a fortified glass box for observation, there's a lot of information we could learn from it

Or you could be safe and toss it into the sea... i dont trust it and if i say something is too dangerous it should say something...
You worry too much my boy. Think of the glory which will rain on our house should we be part of bringing our gods back. *taps money on back with a smile*

Not you too lore master, people are being too cautious these days. One swift move could change everything, think of it, old gods. Great glory for the Imperium!

So Dorian might not be 100% anti-Tevinter!
Spoiler
Dorian being a permanent bench-warmer confirmed.

Encasing it would just be a temporary measure until we know exactly what effect it will have on us. I do agree and think finding an Old God is a top priority, so we should use the shard whatever way we can but possibly test out it's ill effects on "volunteers" first.

Pretty much. He claims he wants to redeem Tevinter, but doesn't care about not getting rid of arguably the thing that needs redeeming the most.

Volunteering might actually be a good idea. Our FE could find some nice "volunteer" from the circle.

kinda narrow minded my friend but its you belief and all i ask is listen to him. Oh, I'll listen to him. After all I just said he would be a bench-warmer, not that I wouldn't let him help. The Inquisition can use all the help it can get, even the connections of a slavery-supporting man like Dorian.
And if he does wish to abolish it, then my opinions will change accordingly.

Could that be inferred with certainty from that single line? He could be making an observation that the peasants in southern Thedas aren't as well off as their rulers would have them believe.

Funny thing he say something that the South isn't better with their widespread poverty and Alienages before the first screenshot.

Dorian looks cool, not to mention this seems to be the start of his character arc in the game so he has time to change and evolve. I can't wait to meet him.
speaking of slavery, as it seems likely that the next game would be in Tevinter. I am curious how slavery might be regarded. As just removing it seems like it takes away some of the horror that is Tevinter. Though i know others don't want to support slavery, and it is a touchy subject.

Greetings Tevinter Imperium supporters,
I a mage who has escape from the Circle in Kirkwall after the champion of Kirkwall lead the others mages to revolt. I have heard tales wizards summoring the dead, mages with swords of power and creating rifts in the world around them. I seek to learn more about these forms of magic and other forms of new skills discovered in the world of the Tevinters.

To you Red of Rivia,
Thank you, I do not know Hawke personal but I did witness his actions and hope to thank him one day or stand by his side. If I must prove my worth I will glady do so. I have been to fade and back as all mages must do, seen to power and fear of blood magic with its demons. So what do you need me to do to prove my worth.
