The Tevinter Imperium support thread- "Tevinter is coming"

Even the patron god of Tevinter admits the old gods are dead husks rotting.
It's funny because he is a lackey to an inferior.

think of rift magi as jedi consulars (op force based attacks for support) and KE as jedi guardians(badass swordsmen with a mix of swordplay and the force)
You know, if Veilstrike did damage, like it did back in DA2 I would consider it.

^.^ every mage that crosses me from now on gets their magic ripped away.
Every mage that is on their own.

Couldn't hear you. I'm too busy helping pro-Orlesian, pro-Templar, pro-Chevalier cretins find new and more original ways to not exist any longer.
Jars of bees are my favorite way to start the process.

I just unlocked this schematic and I can't wait to use it on some Templars.

.-.
It must sting the world keeps on turning even after the conclusion.
That said Gaspard wasn't made Emperor in my first run.
He didn't need to be, would have been better no doubt, but with Nevarra and Tevinter coming closer and closer to war even the current ruler can exploit that.

I just found out by Dorian that the Trevelyans came from Tevinter. I found it to be very cool because I gave my character a Latin name (Marcus) and pretended that his family originally came from Tevinter centuries ago, but I had no idea that they were actually related in the canon. Now I feel awesome.

Who cares for the old gods or superior beings! Last I check they're just as inferior to each other as humans. I say become a being above all and silence those who dare challenges you.

So i got the venatori helm. Does anyone know if the full set is in game? Are there schematics for it, if so where do I get them? Is there a battlemage version also?
So far the Slave Helmet is the only Venatori wearable gear.

I am Magister Iadro, and I'm here to ask to ask you a question: is a man not entitled to the blood of his inferiors?
"No," says the man from Antiva, "it belongs to the House of Crows."
"No," says the man from Nevarra, "it belongs to the Mortalisi."
"No," says the hag in Val Royeaux, "it belongs to the Templars!"
I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the pinnacle. I chose... Minrathous. A city where the artist not fear the censer; where the mage would not be bound by White Chantry morality; where the Exalted would not be bound by the mundane. And with the blood from your veins, Minrathous can become your city as well.

Andrew Ryan is a poor character to base anything given what he was based off of.
That lady is a horrid writer.

If he were a mage, he'd have been right at home in Tevinter, I'd say.

To be honest! I hope that DA4 involves the Tevinter Imperium waging war against the rest of Thedas in attempt to regain it's lost empire and restore it's former glory. Uniting mages, mage apostates and arcane warriors from all corners of the world and reconquering lands that they lost a millenia ago.
They may not worship the Old Gods anymore, but that doesn't mean that they still wouldn't try to reclaim their former territory. It would be awesome! What would make it even better is if they actually succeeded in retaking all of Thedas except for Rivain or Ferelden. There, the character you would play as would make their last stand against the Neo-Tevinter Empire. That would be an epic game!

Never bothered looking into what Bioshock was based on?
Its based on a few books by an author named Ayn Rand; horrible dystopian writer.
Very overhyped, not very talented.

I have actually looked into Objectivism and the writings of Rand throughout my school years, my comment on "lady" was joke on Rand's... distinctive features. Perhaps in poor taste. I am familiar with Objectivism and its pitfalls, therefore there's no need to act condescendingly.

Your joke was interpreted as ignorance, call it condescension if you wish.

This is why a forum needs a tone reader of something, there's no way to gauge the intent behind words. I AM sorry if I have offended, however.

Spoiler
I extremely doubt it Bioware has said that they're done with the South and the Chantry. They want to focus in the North with the Tevinter-Qunari war or Rivain.

What better way to come to the Imperium then as a Crusader?
.-.
That said i will require citations on that point because i never heard anything definite about them being done with the south, i heard a bit about them wanting to do something with Rivain, but that said if they make this nothing, its nothing, but until then?
The Imperium is fighting a war against supposedly the most tactically brilliant martial nation in Thedas.
