Hardly.

Tevinter holds back nothing.

Honestly how many people have to say that before people believe it?

They make holding an island a pain for the Qunari that isn't doing much to overly affect capacity to make war.

Says who? If you really think the Imperium would be such a push over wouldn´t you think qunari would have landed in the main land and finished them off already? Maybe the fight over this single island takes so much time because both parties are on equal footing with power projection? The qunari had advantage previously when Thedas nor the Imperium had not waged war against such adversary. After the first war thought everyone knows how the qun fight. It is easier to adapt to it.

While BioWare has already stated that Inquisition is by no means concluding the Dragon Age series, the game "puts a few nails in quite a few coffins" and "introduces some new twists." For Laidlaw, the introduction of a multiplayer mode into the game is something he would like to continue exploring.

"I'm not sure if it's a perfect story situation, but it might be. I think it's something that's worth at least an investigation, especially based on reactions to the mode itself. I would say we've covered most of the South, I think we've covered the Chantry enough. But I do want to look more toward the North, I want to see what happens to nations like Tevinter, Rivaine, and do more with the Qunari. We're going to go with the same process we did with Inquisition, which was where we have a core story idea that starts to form and drive where we're heading next... the darkspawn, they're still nowhere resolved, there's still multiple arch-demons underground waiting to be woken up by them, there's still demons on the far side of the Veil. Nobody really knows what happened to the Elves. The Tevinter Imperium is still locked in a war with the Qunari. There's so much we could do."

Indeed too me  for the moment the series was focused until this moment on the elven gods, i dont care  about this gods where is the conflict between qunari and tevinter imperium, where are the so called assasin of antiva? where are the secrets of the Anderfel the jungle of Par vollen, enough with  Flemeth-Morrigan- gods dragon or whatever, wee need more mortal things.

Sexuality and Gender be confusing yo! lol. Anyone like necromancer? So far, I'm leaning towards Knight enchanter. I have no interests in rift mage anymore. I kinda feel like the skills & spells were scrapped together from previous games an nothing is new here. Necromancer is entropy + spirit, Rift Mage is primal (earth tree in primal) + force mage, and Knight Enchanter is Arcane Warrior with a lightsaber an cool spirit threads.

Half way through necro i personally love it but it definitely should be viewed as a support class.

it's hilarious to watch health pop back up as enemy's die.

overall i would only recommend taking the passives that keep you alive and then walking bomb.

basically it turns your standard mage into a walking pile of death, that everyone's afraid off (and balckwall thinks your into dead people)

overall i've specc'd my mage so my gear gives me 3 guard every time an attack lands and haven't bothered with any of the defensive skill's (dorian takes care of my barriers occasionally)

it allows me to use myself as nexus of magic, open with chain lighting or winters breath to generate guard have dorian barrier me, take all the heat but instead of running away stand your ground throw a fire trap over myself have dorian lay another in the same spot.....

BOOOOOOOOM and when your passives let you cast another spell straight after .............. cannot wait until i have walking bomb! to follow it up.

So necromancer is not a offensive caster? What a gigantic let down.

I rather miss the expected "summoning" aspect, myself. If necromancy in thedas deals with the manipulation of spirits, rather than straightforwardly raising corpses, something I'd like to see in a future DA game (especially if it's set in Tevinter) would be a spell that lets you store a controlled spirit inside a bauble, or an otherwise innocuous object the PC can wear on their person. When the PC is attacked the spirit leaps out and possesses a nearby cluster of rocks/objects as a personal guardian, warding off blows and dealing out some damage. So even if one's mana/stamina is drained there will always be a defense, yes? Spell can be called "Pocket Profane" or something like that. :)

Well... If you turn on friendly fire, and forget to bring your magic resistance, you can at least see your own party blow up to a "forgotten" Walking Bomb.... Aaah good times....

.-.

It must sting the world keeps on turning even after the conclusion.

That said Gaspard wasn't made Emperor in my first run.

He didn't need to be, would have been better no doubt, but with Nevarra and Tevinter coming closer and closer to war even the current ruler can exploit that.

What?

You astound me.

DId his Awesomeness not as thoroughly trounce She-Whose-Name-You-Don't-Say with his every movement and breath as you anticipated?

Its kinda unsettling he chose celene over gaspard. We've had good debates on it. Curious as to why rather than his choice

Rogues can be quite at home in Tevinter...with the proper sense of deference.

im actually surprised with my conversations with dorian.... it seems there are more people in tevinter who want change than i initially anticipated....

anyways, im rollin dorain as my main mage and necromancer is a great class.  Spirit Mark and Walking Bomb are really good spells.  Spirit mark kind of takes the place of summoning, as any enemy killed with it on them comes back from the dead to fight for you for a while.  Walking bomb does a good deal of damage per second and the explosion upon death does a lot more.  Horror leaves a lot to be desired as i find the "panic" to be useless...  most of my guys have to run after the guy cause he runs away and leads me on a merry chase around the countryside.

I had all three parties join in alliance, with Gaspard retaining his place at court :P

So basically...I kept him vital to Orlais without giving him a throne.

nope after getting frustrated with dragons i'm now rushing to the end of the game and starting over KE makes up for my lack of skill with this game. it took me so many retries to kill the hinterlands dragon i just can't kill **** quick enough with these gimped staffs for my necro to succeed in dragonslaying as prolonged fights negate the necro's abilities the mid tier fights are where it shines because you can stay still and focus the add's on you and the more they die the stronger you become. in a dragon fight there's too much running and dodging and trying to get out of range of that stupid god damn whirlwind thing.

also none of my drangonling kills have ever risen from the dead to fight for me.

It's amazing how quickly i hit the wall with this build, i feel i need a staff that dishes out a lot more than 109 DPS (the best i've gotten so far) to take out dragons i've found a few that dish out more attack but not enough to surpass the gimped dps and i refuse to drop the difficulty lvl to normal out of pride!
