Personally I think removing blood magic from the imperium is a really bad idea, the imperium needs every advantage it can take in the fight against the Qunari.

the thing i liked about that arc is i could understand the reason not that i agree with the methods but he loved his son and wanted "what was best for him"

It was very cathartic for me since me and my dad dont get along much but now we are getting along somewhat

So I've had more time getting to know all the Mage specializations.

I love how this time it's not a hybrid, but a pure mage spec. How it should be, mages don't need steel, they can slap people with solid fade energies.

I really miss spells with real AoE though.. Like if enemies are scattered around quite a bit I can use Chain lightning and then... yeah, I can use chain lightning. 

 

Flameblast, Blizzard, Firewall too little of an AoE. Other AoE spells hit other targets when they stand in point blank to the target. A few nice AoE spells can be cast with focus, but hey that's focus, very rare application. 

 

I would love like a proper firestorm/lightning storm.

Because balance. Everything that should rightfully be OP by the lore gets nerfed for class balance.

There are no drawbacks, you are either strong enough to wield magic or you become an abomination. You are either trained to wield magic properly or you blow yourself. up. And don't we kinda want to play as a strong trained mage?
