i wanna play as abomination. There so much lore spaceThere are no drawbacks, you are either strong enough to wield magic or you become an abomination. You are either trained to wield magic properly or you blow yourself. up. And don't we kinda want to play as a strong trained mage?

Abomination is when the spirit/demon completely takes over imo, I don't like that word. I don't want to call Wynne/Anders and other similar types abominations.
But I would love to play as someone who has a union with a fade entity.

B: bonded
C: symbiote(like venom from marvel sans the crazy/homicide
Fond of b and c as proper terms

Yeah. C sounds the best imo, we should push the term!
Also Parker was an idiot to ever deny venom, he was better than ever.

I want drawbacks though. I like having a lot of power but having risks to deal with it. plus there is also lyrium addiction ![]()

Do you want a chance to cut your leg as a warrior while you swing a sword?

not the same thing IMO, magic IMO should always have drawbacks in some fashion.

Do you really care if you are an arse if you feel great? Simbiotes influence neurotransmitters called dopamine, being in contact with a simbiote is like being high!

Then you need to make proper lore for those drawbacks first. So far DA has no drawbacks, only dangers, and our protagonists through out the whole games face so many greater dangers against the odds and succeed that magic is the last on the list to succeed in ''beating'' them so to speak.

The blood magic spec. must absolutely be brought back and beefed up if we go to Tevinter. And please add back all of the mage spells stripped from the class over the last two games. No excuses, Bioware. ![]()

So monkey, you get to choose a spirit/demon as your simbiote.. what do you go for?

Hmm im normally a sarcastic and calm person who likes to help others and rarly shows any genuine anger or negative emotions.... So i think a spirit of compassion or properly temperance more likly. Especially given the revelations of DAISo monkey, you get to choose a spirit/demon as your simbiote.. what do you go for?
You?

I'd go for the hunger demon because:
1) It is a demon that theoretically has the most growth potential, both mentally and in power.
2) I like special snowflakes - it's the only one without a counter-part spirit and the only one that goes around destroying other spirits/demons.
I just feel like this is a very unique demon. It's almost like a very powerful wisp that actually has it's own character, and it is just trying to survive and finds it's own purpose and power, not caring particularly about mortals, not latching unto THEIR dreams and emotions like the other fade entities. Yeah..

I really miss spells with real AoE though.. Like if enemies are scattered around quite a bit I can use Chain lightning and then... yeah, I can use chain lightning.
Flameblast, Blizzard, Firewall too little of an AoE. Other AoE spells hit other targets when they stand in point blank to the target. A few nice AoE spells can be cast with focus, but hey that's focus, very rare application.
I would love like a proper firestorm/lightning storm.
Oh...I remember the pure, irrepressible badassery of Origins lightning storm...
It was so satisfying.

This issue i see with spirits it that they take too much of life and cant find a balance. Anders could have been a key example if his anger hadnt warped justice

Anders was naive though in the sense that he didn't take into account his own anger when allowing himself to be possessed. He wasn't strong enough to control and rein in Justice, like Wynne did with Faith.

Spirit of.....satisfaction/satiation?
The funny thing is, such spirit could never exist, because being satisfied in a timeless ever-changing place means that you are nothing, you do not interact with anything or anyone, you don't care you are just satisfied, no purpose no meaning - you just don't exist...

I guess I like the no counterpart thing better, anyway.
