I just really like Tera and similar styles. They are even more fancy while at the same time not looking too heavy / uncomfortable and they also look sexy.

Same, it looks both uncomfortable and gaudy. If I am a female magister I want style and elegance and comfort/ability to cast magic easily.

I don't know about Mae as I have not read the comics. But I am pretty sure that Dorian states explictly that he loves his country.

Loves what, the landscape? Doesn't like the majority of people and their ways.

Mae is a fox, and she ties with Dorian for best fashion sense seen out of Tevinter so far. She should be a companion in a Tevinter installment. If it takes place in Tevinter, they could have her be contrasted by someone more your style, KainD.

I don't know, it's entirely up to Bioware. Orlesian fashion already has hoop skirts, both in concept art and in the game itself.

i want a vader-starkiller type mentorship. Starts off tolerable but as time goes he becomes his own man and steps out of his stepfathers shadow

surely later in the game you can change it though.  ME3 even offered a pre order change of clothes for your ship.
