I would be surprised if the next game is not Vint and Qunari focused.  Didn't the writers say they are moving on from the Ferelden/Orlais location?  It really is old and tired.  I wouldn't want to play another game here...especially when other places are so interesting and have so much to offer.

That is correct. the devs have stated they want to explore more about Rivain, the Qun, and Tevinter. Of course though there are 4 norhtern nations: Qun, Anderfels, Rivain and Tevinter. We do not know which of the 4 they are going to focus on.

 

As neat as the anderfels is, it is rather similar to the south to be a good introduction to the North. Antivia is more different from the South then the Anderfels is IMO.

 

I do believe that the focus will be on Tevinter and the Qun's struggle with one another.

It would be good to see tevinter in a light other then 'evil' and 'horrible and that is wrong'

 

btw for a silly idea I thought that the mage circles in tevinter might be rather similar to Hogwarts just a tad darker and more political what do others think?

dorian describes them as "academies" so they may be like boarding schools or like ivy league schools

Anyone know if citizens who sell themselves into "indentured servitude" get more rights/priviledges than foreign slaves?

Dorian does mention that a person can sell themselves into slavery for an agreed upon time and be "emperium owned slaves" which sounds pretty official and seem like they have some rights based on the contract they signed.

Then there's the foreign caught slaves which seems to be more black market than anything else.

I would think so. That they can be granted full citizenship after a certain period gives them a significant leg-up over foreign slaves who were captured or sold to the Imperium, or people who were simply born into slavery.

Yeah, looking at WoT it seems like being Soporati is still difficult to make a living. With slave labor being cheaper than what a soporati can produce it seems like becoming an indentured servant is the best way to make use of your skills.

yes and no mya. If you have merit you rise as high as ypur status can. Indenturing can hurt their economy if taken in excess like that not alot of people do it due the stigma of enslavment or just cause they lack the skills...

He had to have, at least to have been able to play such an important part in the Black Divine's plan.

 

I myself wonder how old he was at the time. If he wasn't taught anti-magical abilities in Tevinter then he had to have been through more training when he left, not to mention whatever the Seekers put him through before his vigil. Then he became Lord Seeker.

Its a battle in myself, but in truth even IF i did leave (which i wouldn't)  it would be for a person and still hating vints....thats not going to work.  It would be siding with a person at that point.  A person who sides with filth!  Filth who think I am a farm animal and want to put a collar on me and put a ring in my nose lol.  Never gonna happen.

 

What we have here is just 1 angel among a million evil bastards.  Slave owning, blood magic casting, trash talking, time magic using, ANTI QUN fools who just happen to have nice looking armor and weapons.

 

Tevinter may have its own appeal sure, but it doesn't deserve her either.  Although I do have her back 100%

When crunch time comes though and you HAVE to pic a side...what side are you fighting for?  Or are you disappearing in sex cave somewhere with collars and rings and some of my Qunari women even though you wont submit to the Qun? Let everyone else sort out the details I'd fight for Arti no doubt.  Not the vints though.
