I want to see unique stuff.  I mean if magic is unhindered by any "rules" you should be so far beyond what has been seen thus far.

 

I want to the fade ripped open on the battle field and enemies get rushed by demons.

 

I want to see long dead or just powerful magisters summoned hovering around striking with the hand of God.

 

I want to see telekinesis (as was stated earlier)

 

Lets get some "possession" mode kinda like anders, but not such a ******.

 

I mean mages are worthless and can't do anything for themselves so they need to go all out.

 

You should be able to choose something and have it as a constant "pet" that you never lose.

It depends on the plot that bioware is going for, but I actually agree with you, and I am one who views blood magic as evil. It should be open for players to use, and the characters should decide if it is evil.  Blood magic requires spilling blood, either yours or someone elses and that should be required and it should be the character's to decide if it is good or evil.

 

I say character over player as a character can have a view different from the player. Aurelia views blood magic as a weapon, but a weapon that has too many drawbacks to be effective in her mind but she does not view it as evil. 

 

I do hope that we see more about magic in tevinter then just blood magic though.

That's cuz you hit the lyrium too much.  There is no way Tevinter could stand against the Qunari.  Let alone kill the Arishok? Come on now.  Leave it to your fade dreams.

 

I would battle TS to the death cuz of his heart and fire, but he would be cut down just the same.  Everything I want from Tevinter is a lost cause and isn't going to happen.  All that's left is smashing on my arch nemesis.  This forum would be nowhere near as fun as it is if it wasn't for the Tevinter scum and attacking me in my Qunari Support thread which started this glorious rivalry and introduced me to this kind of posting.  Now its the funnest forum I have ever been a part of.

 

I am going to be a little sad when Tevinter burns, but its the only way as you are ALL too hard headed.  I will miss you guys posting when you're dead though.

Doesn't count for spies.  That is their job.  They do not lie to the Qunari.  In fact, they help us and make us better when situations arise that make us lose our focus.  A very important part of the Qun.

 

I'm sure in the Archon's wisdom he knows our conflict will only be done when he lays dead at my feet as he refuses to see reason and submit.  As such, given the chance he would torture and kill me.  I can respect that though.  I also think it would be interesting to battle and crack heads with TS, but its just not meant to be.  They have proven to me just as you have.  You refuse to see reason.

I have been reading this back and forth for a while now and it's quite amusing to see how arrogant those that follow the Qun often become. While I can at the very least acknowledge the way the Qunari live and let them be, I can't help but be genuinely astonished whenever they start talking about how they are the most powerful nation on thedas, blah, blah, blah, etc., etc. The mages of Tevinter have crossed into the Black City, the rumored seat of the maker itself. They have accomplished feats other nations cannot even begin to fathom. The Qunari have invented a form of explosives, big deal. What is a simple explosive powder when compared to the combined might of the magisterium, a group consisting of some of the most powerful mages in Thedas. 

 

There are some faults within our society, and I must admit I am not an advocate of the continued slavery of the elves. However, I am a proud citizen of Tevinter, the greatest nation the world of Thedas has ever had the privilege of hosting. You say the only reason the Qunari have not already destroyed Tevinter is that they are biding their time and building their forces, but in reality, it is the other way around. Tevinter is simply allowing the Qunari to exist in Thedas. You are right about one thing however, if there were to be a full scale war between Tevinter and the Qunari, it would be a short one, just quite in the direction you wish it to be. This is why I tried to save you all the lyrium and mages you are always around. You choose to deny true glory. You have lost grip on reality.  Take a trip to the island and see who is there to greet you.  That USED to be yours, now its Qunari.  You tried and tried and tried to get it back, but you were broken.  Every second it sits under Qunari control is a stab at Tevinter, but they do nothing.....because they can't.

What is the deal with summonings?  Why can't or don't they happen in Dragon Age?  Why couldn't Vints do them?

 

Also for bonus points...what is the coolest summon of all time?
