How does that fit into the Blue Cosmos purity tilt. Isn't that, like, the exact opposite of what red Lyrium does.

Oh he isn't Blue Cosmos.

But that said.

Blue Cosmos doesn't object to genetic or technological enhancements. It isn't a ludite organization.

They merely don't buy into a certain type of...well they wouldn't even call them people...

What is the deal with summonings?  Why can't or don't they happen in Dragon Age?  Why couldn't Vints do them?

Also for bonus points...what is the coolest summon of all time?

On the contrary, I think you'll find that Tevinter mages do the most summoning. You're probably thinking of a more specific kind of summoning that the rules of magic in Dragon Age either render impossible or nearly-impossible to do.

while DA has summons but. They are too "broken" i guess for the games. In the outside media summoning is more common. Though in inquisition you can "summon" a dragon depending choice.. grant its heavy dnd inspired its at the same time more grounded

I wonder how the last of the Elder ones will be introduced.

On the subject of demon summoning it came to mind.

Forbidden one and probably shown as a op character or force somehow taken down by a mediocre npc or possesing a mage

An Anonymous Upstanding Citizen of Minrathous:

Curses! My foolish but dear dear son, who studied under a minor but respectable magister in apprenticeship, had lain with a fellow apprentice's elven slave and begot a child. I've purchased the slave from its former master at my son’s behest. What is one slave, when I would willingly give him everything he could ever want?

Despite its less than illustrious maternal roots, the child turned out human-looking, as they always wont to do. But what’s more, is that it is also a magical child. A very magical child. My son, out of misguided pride, even claims it is stronger than many a mages in our house's past bloodline. For the past years we've kept it and trained it to be a useful and loyal servant.

But then the magister came to us, and claimed that he had also lain with the very same elven wench! And that the child is his to keep. But the child clearly resembles my son more! And the other apprentice, the former owner of the elf, who originally sold her to my house, now claimed that since the slave was impregnated while in his service, he too should have some claims upon the child.

And that is not the end of this sorry tale. For my son has taken the slave and child, and fled the city. Does anyone here know of a reliable but powerful tracking spell that will not harm what it seeks to find? The one I could perform with the slave's blood has limited reach. The one I've placed in the child's Teddy Bear has ceased to function a few days ago. Perhaps my son has found out and dispelled it? I believe their last known location was somewhere around the Exalted Plains.

Anyone who could offer their help would be rewarded generously.

That's cuz you hit the lyrium too much.  There is no way Tevinter could stand against the Qunari.  Let alone kill the Arishok? Come on now.  Leave it to your fade dreams.

Yeah.. no. Our duel would go something like this:

Barista is like a barmen, only barmen serves alcohol, while barista serves hot drinks ( e.g tea, coffee, cocoa, mocha ), and they grind the beans manually and make it on the spot.

I'd shoot a man who diluted my coffee and then expected a tip.

In the knee.

Avoid those attempted murder charges.

And that is the tip of the day.

The espresso shot is not going anywhere, that's a standard and is done before any other procedures and mixers that go with the coffee.

Even though that is the dumbest Arishok look I've ever seen.  (i cringe when I look at it) That's pretty impressive.  Except the fact he did nothing himself besides flail his arms around.

What look do you expect from a person that is being torn to pieces?

Did nothing himself as in? He was using magic, that's what he was doing, and that is going to be the undoing of all the Qunari that underestimate a powerful mage. Hawke doesn't even come close to my own prowess and many other mages I know.
