You do not have much tolerance for opposing points of view, as is your right.

Not at all, it's not about the views, but the actions. You have a different point of view, but your actions hold loyalty to my cause, and that is the most important thing.

I however, can entertain the notion of differing circumstances leading to different individual outcomes.

That is the truth, we are all products of our circumstances. However that is what we are now, what a person stands for defines them, and makes a friend or a foe.

This same unfortunate devotion does not diminish my appreciation for her power, her courage, her intelligence, and her loyalty.

That is fair enough, and you can respect the fine qualities of our enemies and learn from them, but would you not want to see them dead?

To me, enemies are more than an opposing force. They are a defining force. I also perceive that our having such people as Arishok and Z, both of whom I respect, as our enemies is indicative of the greatness of the Imperium. As such, I'm pleased that our enemies are impressive.

it's as if you enjoy hardships in life and having around people that would get in the way of you achieving what you want.

I'm not 100% what you are refering to  (I sided with mages) But I love the templar in this game!  Light of Heaven combined with purge?  Holy Shiz!

If I can stomach a warrior in the SP at some point in the future I am going to make a 2 handed one

I know what you mean. I feel like the story fits best with a devout warrior leading the inquisition, but I find playing a mage so much more fun. I simply can't find a way to justify having a mage as the head of the inquisition.

Right, but I can't picture a mage running an organization that was originally created by those who eventually became the first templars. The old inquisition literally hunted mages.

I'm informed that mage Inquisitor's have a significantly greater amount of special dialogue options.

I think the writers account for the irony.

To be fair they hunted everyone mages were just a easy target cause of "blood orgy heathens ablah blah" but inquisition is about change so it fits

Yeah I've experienced the same thing. I suppose my mind is telling me to make my sword and shield warrior my "canon" since the next game will include Tevinter within it, and I have no doubt that I will be playing a mage if that is the case. I like to keep my "heroes" different in terms of classes in order to make my personal history of thedas more interesting. Does that make sense at all?

Tevinters should dress like glory. I really dislike their armors and robes...

Really? I find their outfits to look the most aesthetically pleasing mage armor I've ever seen. Of course I may be a little biased  ;)

Funny.  I thought that was the only good thing about them.  Their armor was kinda nice.

Mage Inquisitor is how it's meant to be played. The Maker's Chosen is a mage, gifted with the boon of Andraste, to show mundanes that mages aren't monsters to be feared. They are heroes that should serve man by starting an altruistic Knight-Enchanter Order dedicated to bringing peace and balance to Thedas. They will remain ever vigilant as they hunt down dark magics that prey on the weak and work in the shadow to bring chaos to the world.

TL;DR Southern Mages should be Jedi.

Yeah, but don't those spoiled ass southern mages leave the Inquisition after DA:I to rabble rouse again? You need Jedi to be a Jedi Order.

That's basically what the Knight Enchanters are. That "Construct your lightsaber Spirit Blade hilt" was pretty over the top.

I figured that out. I'm saying all southern mages should be Knight-Enchanters. It's definitely a step above complaining about how oppressed they are.

Very appealing. Unfortunately, not all are cut out for that kind of life (mentally, physically, and even magically). That, and I'm sure the old Chantry (and scummy-ass Seekers) would have felt threatened by a legion of dragon-killing powerhouses.
