btw I was chatting with krem today as my dalish and he did say that if someone was of the soporati but at the higher end, ie rich, they could live an easy life. So it is possible to have a good life in Tevinter and not a mage.

 

Now the thing that concerns me is the comment krem made about how women can only do certain jobs in the imperium's military.; I always got the impression that tevinter was for the most part equal oppretunity evil. Except for the top roles of the Imperial divine which is male due to tradition according to dorian. However Krem stated that women in the tevinter military don't have as many options as men, krem states "women are allowed to serve but only in certain ranks and discplines"
