So Tevinter knows how to use fire ships as well (Venatori use one to attack Denerim), I imagine those would work wonderfully on Dreadnaughts as well.

Considering it came out out of southern Fereldan at least by destination it wouldn't be impossible.
Southern Ferelden? Considering the placement of Denerim, it would be beyond unlikely. I was thinking somewhere along that same inlet that leads to the city.

I like the idea of artillery ships which is why I'd think that is what Tevinter employed.
