I meant that with how the Taint has been described within the world, along with other things like Blights, the Darkspawn etc. it has been developed beyond being a metaphor or a symbol.

Well, at least still in doubt , the Architect will show the truth. Or not. At least you can tell me what you think is the taint ?

Well, I do like the idea that it is, or at least started as, some kind of manifestation of all-consuming greed. I call it "magic" because it simply works in ways that are not physically possible. So it's not necessarily magic as in, the "Dragon Age magic" we're most familiar with, but it is supernatural nonetheless.
