They have their uses, but there are uses for the blight as well, I don't want it to be over permanently. The taint should be studied and used, as should the old Gods.

Spirit of faiths seem to be the safest spirits to make contact with.

 

According to Solas, spirits who embody a rare thing on Thedas will have a lot of problems such as Justice. There is close to Zero Justice on Thedas and this alone can change Justice and not in a good way. The Justice we encountered probably went through this, perhaps Anders' anger played a part as well but his own anger was apparent on Awakening as well. 

 

I mean spirits of Hope have completely ignored all mortals because nothing on Thedas attracts them aka there is no hope for Thedas.
