Tranquility works on anyone, right? Mage or mundane?

They use more on the mages I think, but should work on everyone .

What of the Wardens?

With the end of the old gods, they will left, so if you can not create other Archdemons... after the last two dies.

When the Wardens have served their purpose I can see offering them an alliance. They are, after all, able to be manipulated without question.

And considering that most people in Thedas are high on kissing ass and following orders, they should fit snugly within the palm of my hand.

All one must do is appeal to their ego.

I think when the old gods are gone, the Wardens who remain will help the dwarves with the others darkspawn and when all Warden finally die, they will became a myth and will be forgotten.

*"Hear this Magister, your agent is dead. Next time you intervene with my plans this dagger will be for you". He dropped the note and twiddled with the leaf shaped dagger in his hand. "Cute, this little freedom fighter assumes she is on my level" he thought with a disparaging smile, "maybe I need to teach her a lesson".
As he placed the dagger on the small table Nazlik stepped into tent. "I spoke with the guards, none saw anything. This is not good" she said frowning, "I hate the idea that someone can just waltz right in here".
"Elven" he said, "and I have pretty good idea who". "Do not worry about it" he continued soothingly as she looked concerned, "there will not be a next time, I will ward our tent to prevent this from happening again". He stopped her pacing around by wrapping his hands around her waist, "let me take your mind of this my lady, if you do me the honor and accompany me to a dinner outside". He escorted her to a table set outside the tent under the cote. As they ate dinner the evening sun set behind the mountains coloring the sky red. Next day they set out to Antivan city as the early morning light started to creep over the mountains.*

90ies - early 2000s was the prime for many things.  We are still on a downward spiral.  Especially in the garbage music industry these days.  Best cars too - a few shining stars.

A world that needed us.

This one doesn't.

Were relics of an era were we valuable.

This world is ran by economic influence and the politicians that profit off of it.

It's commerce that dictates everything, even war.

Ideology has fallen to the clink of golden coins and left behind the tension of a superior age.

It's sickening.

alright big boss haha

But really jokes aside: times change, wars evolve, people find new "styles" of war. We live in a digital and technological age. Best we can do is adapt.

Im no master debator or philosopher but the world is what it is and i kinda like atm

It's funny how you mentioned that.

I actually got a call relating to future employment just earlier today.

I'm selling my business and pulling up stakes.

I finally have found a cause to devote my skills to again.

We all now live in the great mushy middle where everyone believes in everything [and therefor nothing] and all view points are equally [in]valid. There can be no great aspirations, no greater purpose when civilization drowns itself in the intoxicatingly lazy smothering embrace of moral relativism.

Indeed.

The largest private army in existence in fact.

Their standing offensive force outmatches some countries

Apparently millos did show them my file, G4 faxed a contract to their closest office up in Nashville.

I signed it and once again I'm doing what I found suits my skillset far better then defragging hard drives.

I'm going to orientation in two weeks until then I'm going to look for buyers of my office space.

while thats very accurate. But should we give ourselves to whatever extreme takes us, give in to our savage nature as warmongers. Or should we give in to our other extreme of saints and philantropists.

Both sides are very dull best to play the game on what hand you get
