I hate to agree, but Kain is right.  The lose battles like its going out of style, but defeated means their main city is taken.  It's only a matter of time as their military is a joke, and hiding behind mutts and walls only lasts so long.

*"Lord Magister Ukki of house Vaellanius, Sword of the Imperium, Vanquisher of the qunari, Savior of Seheron. Representative of the Imperial Senate" The announcer shouted with a high pitched voice.

He walked past the open twin doors to the great hall. Dozens of other guests turned to gaze upon one of the fabled Magisters. He had his gala robes on just to impress them. Black as night with silver runes embroided around wrists and shoulders. Dragons in his belt were chasing their tails around his waist. The orb in his staff glowed softly causing people to gasp in the presence of magic.
One step behind him walked Nazlik dressed in her beautiful gown. Luxurious dress, tastefully revealing her slender shoulders and neck, it was sewn to illustrate the latest Imperial fashion. She had a shining diamond necklace and earrings to illustrate her bronze skin. Anther set of diamond bracelets glimmered in her wrists. She had black pearls placed in her braided long white hair which was arranged on her head and down to her bare back. He noticed to his satisfaction how people were mostly seeing her as she was a stunning spectacle, something the other guests had never seen.

"Lord Vaellanius!" shouted prince Valisti as they approached the host of the evening at the end of the hall. "Your highness" he replied with a slight bow. "It is good to have you here" the prince said with a smile. "The pleasure is mine your highness" he replied, "I couldn´t miss this opportunity to visit my good friend when I had the change to come here to strengthen the relations between our two countries". "Oh, yes. The trade treaty. We will talk about it tomorrow, it is too boring subject for tonight". The prince gazed upon Nazlik, "and who is this delightful revelation" he said with a broad smile. "I don´t recall having anything this charming in my manor for a long time". "She is my personal escort" Ukki said and gestured her closer. "My name is Nazlik your highness. I am pleased to make your acquaintance" she said with a perfect court curtsey.
"The pleasure is all mine" the prince said with a bow and broad smile, "please enjoy the festivities" he said turning to Ukki. "I will talk to you later, now I have to attend to other guests". With a nod the prince left to greet the new arriving guests.

As he gestured at a passing servant serving drinks Nazlik whispered to him, "So you two know each other? In good terms?". "yes, I´ve done business with him before" he said while taking the drinks and handing her one, "he is also a discreet contact if you need the help of crows". "Is that smart?" she wondered, "you had some crows trying to kill you before". "Yes but I still can buy my own contracts. Gold is gold you see. Even among the crows" he said with a wink and took a sip of the wine.

Later after several guests had flocked around them, to satisfy their curiosity, he took her to tour around the ballroom to mingle with the other guests. As the music started to play he turned to Nazlik and bowed. "Will you do me the honor and give me this dance my lady?" he asked, "Oh my lord, I thought you would never ask" she said with a smile and curtsey. He took her arm and escorted her to the dance floor. They whirled through the dance floor for the amazement of the ball.
