I like how you guys always dream big, but have absolutely nothing to back it up.  It must suck to have to live vicariously through wet dreams and what ifs.

Better dreams than delusions, dear. After all you still seem to be operating under the assumption that your fellow bovines aren't just puffed up push overs.

Tevinter is washed up, especially now that it has been revealed that the Elves finished themselves.

The Qunari are coming for them!!

May I ask why? A focus on self-reliance, or just a habit of the old homeland? Does rivain have slaves?

something like that, its more of a belief if one is "enslaved" they will lose what potential they have to mediocrity

And rivain has no slaves... we are a "family" of sorts and slavery isnt practiced there as far as i know.

Yeah ... I think I can represent you in the Magisterium. But we know that my style works with more guerrilla than with policy.

i agree for now continue to learn i will be holding a ball for your success

Of course, it didn't have to takes the full might of the Imperium since the Elves's stupidity doom themselves, and their so called glorious civilization is ruined because the Elves are foolish enough to destroy themselves. We'd just deliver the killing blow.

And we will welcome our new cattle gladly.

I remember him stating that spirits being forced into the material plane against their will can be driven mad and turned into demons, but that subject has nothing to do with abominations (since "Spirits" as they are colloquially known are not concerned with possessing people or crossing to the different plane in the first place), nor does it explain why demons (as in, spirits who would be referred to as "demons"in the Fade) would seek to possess someone rather than crossing through a rift.

I'm pretty sure that would make them mad by, you know, standards of social interaction.

The more primitive demons like Rage or Hunger, or even the "fragments" like wisps or wraiths are objectively insane when they manifest in the material plane. Is crossing through a rift supposed to make them... more insane??

Spirits will posses people, in the case of Anders and Wynne, they were still "abominations" but Justice and Faith were traits both of them had. until obviously Justice turned into Vengeance. You would understand why they want to if you simply read the Codex entry on possession... Having this knowledge will also answer your second question.

The demon that I found was very friendly and articulate, would like to study this kind of being further.

Correction: Spirits have possessed people. The two instances you reference are noted to be exceedingly rare exceptions to the rule, and on top of that neither occurred against the will of the mage. Though, apparently you're claiming that "spirits" are going to start possessing mages en masse? Because of the breach? Why?

At least I will not be reprimanded in Tevinter ... as the demons think is interesting, although they are considered inferior and ... strange, if you get my drift.

I replied to your comment on Spirit's not possessing people or crossing the Veil.. If you knew they have, why on earth did you say they don't? Wynne was possessed against her will, once again I will ask you to get informed on your lore before making comments on the matter :) I would also like to ask you to point out where i stated spirits will start possessing people en masse because of the breach. If you're going to continue to totally take my posts out of context, don't bother replying.. I have no time for people like you. I also have no reason to 'try again' as you so politely put it, read the Codex, get a bit of knowledge on the subject and all will be clear. I find it funny you're trying to argue against canon lore and in-game explanations written to answer questions such as yours o.O

One of my noob questions,it is already explained why the mages attract demons ?

That has no simple answer.

There are differing schools of thought on and there are no real answers in the lore.

According to some they seek to "perceive the waking world" truly through the eyes of a mage, also acquiring the power of a mage in the world and thus the ability to shape the world, as the spirits do in the fade.

According to others; they are simply jealous of the second children of the Maker and seek to take their imagination to attract their father to them with their stolen creativity.

According to yet more others they merely seek to take life, any life period.

its because they can change reality mostly and its easier.

I replied to your comment on Spirit's not possessing people or crossing the Veil.. If you knew they have, why on earth did you say they don't?

I said they do not concern themselves with crossing between the planes (whereas "demons" are), nor with possessing people, because they don't. Justice was forced out of the Fade against his will, and it was a mutual decision to merge with Anders.

Wynne was possessed against her will, once again I will ask you to get informed on your lore before making comments on the matter :)

Given that Wynne had the ability to eject the Spirit and even controls the amount of power she draws from it, the spirit most certainly does not inhabit her body against her will. This type of interaction would also preclude it from being possession in a literal sense.

I would also like to ask you to point out where i stated spirits will start possessing people en masse because of the breach. If you're going to continue to totally take my posts out of context, don't bother replying..

Because I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by assuming this somehow links back to the original question of whether or not the Breach should correlate with a surge in abominations... as opposed to just making irrelevant comments for the sake of being pedantic.

I also have no reason to 'try again' as you so politely put it, read the Codex, get a bit of knowledge on the subject and all will be clear. I find it funny you're trying to argue against canon lore and in-game explanations written to answer questions such as yours o.O

Yes, I am aware of what the (in-universe perspective) codex says. Of course, it has nothing to do with whether or not demons prefer possession as opposed to manifesting in their pure form via weakened veil or rift. Neither does it discuss the issue of demons choosing to possess people when they have already manifested in the mortal plane. You're just name-dropping a codex for whatever reason, even though it doesn't hold any relevant information pertaining to this subject.
