I don't play period anymore, i don't even keep up with the codexs any longer.

 

I stopped years ago.

Now i wouldn't bother with any faction.

Yeah, I'm somewhat in the same boat I don't really play anymore, and was always more of a Fantasy fan, but I still enjoy the setting and keep up with the fluff. I'm loving the new WHFB End Times books so far [Malekith was the true king all along! My early-teens self is overjoyed at having called it].

The distinction is evident.

Like with spiritual healing a spirit is called forth to aid in the mending.

They aren't possessed.

I think the manner in which they are tranquilized and cured leaves them changed in a way they don't realize.

 

The only other cases of people gaining permanent powers, that we know of, were both merged. Compare that to the other "touched" case in Pharamond or "exposed" with Karl.
