"Lord and Ladies of the Magisterium. Despite of the recent events in the southern parts of Thedas and the rise of the Inquisition with the troubles in Orlais I want to draw your attention to a issues at home and to some extend to a idea you all should consider.

 

First I want to draw your attention to the late Magister Alexius and his proposal. As you all know I was a stout supporter of his proposal regarding the Circles in the Imperium. *takes a pause and looks around to get everyone's attention*

 

I hereby declare a sum of 200 000 gold coins for the retouching and reconstruction of the circles. It is a affront for the Imperium that the very places of magical studies are being left to rot. Therefore I challenge all of the members of the Senate to participate in this process in restoring our esteemed schools of magic back to their former glory. *takes a pause and sips some wine*

 

I am sure none of my esteemed colleagues object this fundraising. Therefore I have already sent clerks to each of your representatives to hasten the process. *shuffles papers*

 

Second, I would like to you all to consider something which some of you might think insane or extraordinary. And that is, dragons. Indeed dragons, those magnificent beast whom have returned to Thedas for the delight of some and the horror of others. 

What I suggest is that we put together specific teams, consisting of hunters and foresters, people who have any experience of these beasts. And who what purpose you might ask? To capture a dragon. *takes a dramatic pause*

 

That´s right, I suggest we try to capture young dragons or their eggs to have and breed our own dragons. For the war against the oxmen and for the glory of the Imperium. Old legends claim how the Imperium used dragons to bring down the Arlathan, the heart of elven empire. I say why should it be just a legend?!

As an Atheist I find scripture to be an endless source of entertainment, with bits of wisdom sprinkled into Psalms and the obscure books of the Bible. However, the savagery of certain verses and the implications that they carry are too fun to ignore.

 

I have a peculiar sense of humor and I am not sorry.

Wonder if the patches they're working on will come with additional content. I read that they complained they weren't able to get everything out for release.

Hey, guys, uh, I mean fellow magisters or whatevers. This is going to sound tots cray-cray and all, but just maybe we should curtail this whole slavery thing. I mean, its fun having the elves dance while you shot fire beneath their feet, but that sorta of gets boring after awhile. Alright, the dancing elves almost on fire routine never gets old, but that doesn't change that slavery is terribad and mega-awfully. Look, I'm just trying to it put it out there that the millennium long forced servitude business hasn't exactly done wonders for our foreign relations or even basic PR. Seriously, the stories they tell about us down south are just mind-blowing. They think we bang desire demons for lulz, which is incredibly ridiculous since everyone knows that desire demons have nothing but really sharp in their privates anyone, so we would have to a bunch insane masochistic psychos to do something like that! Which were not, right? Right? OK, awkward silence from the crowd, I can roll with that.  Back to my point, I think Tevinter needs a change so here goes. I vote for a referendum on our polices towards slavery. Make it illegal I say! Whose with me!

I've always wondered why the vints did this.  If you are so pro mage and blah blah blah....why do you allow mages to be treated the way they are in the south?
