Possibly but the point remains that the enity we encounter is far beyond the rudimentary aspect of a typical spirit.

Either it's more advanced in it's baliwick as would be befit Faith or it's...something else entirely.

That we do, what the weak minded do not understand is that spirits and demons are best at confusing. Weak people want to believe, therefore they are willing to take any shred of hope to strengthen their already decided mind. Simplicity at its best.
