Well that's true. If you win a war, then you basically get to decide how the losers will "run" their country.

That's usually a condition.

I know it happened with Germany and the USSR. But unlike those countries, I don't see the qunari wanting to take any Tevinter alive and vice versa. Forcing people into your group will lead to destruction from the inside.

But that is exactly what they want to do, to have all the people of Thedas submit to the Qun.

Boyo you think resistance will be effective for either group? The Qunari military will be formally disbanded, it's officers executed, the Arishok publicly beheaded, the tomes and scrolls of the Qun put to torch, it's priesthood will have their tongues struck from their mouths.

The Ariqun will be taken as a slave and the Arigana Oho you don't want to know.

No matter what, there will always be someone that gets away. To start anew, which would lead to another war, unless some kind of compromise is made. But both sides are stuck on their ways or living the glory life to even realize the true of the matter. 

 

The MagexTemplar suffered from the same thing. We are literally repeating history in Inquisition. It's a endless cycle.

Not for the Qun submit Thedas , is a system of government that would not sustain whole place. Suppose you have a revolution of Qun in Ferelden, the revolution would quickly muffled by people in and out of the country. Resistance of Maker would be created or anything like that, at least I see it that way, you know? perhaps as Qunari massacres happen, I do not know. Tensions rose and I doubt that the mage would be silent. Templars is even acceptable , but sew the mouth, I do not think so. Now imagine all this in Tevinter, would be much worse.

Sometimes all we have is wishful thinking. He may already know he's a tool, but having some kind of hope can give people the courage to keep trying or going on. (Corny 101).

The only good qunari are the ones who join the mercenary group, The Ataashi, "The Glorious Ones," who fight for Tevinter under a dragon banner!

 

The others that reject the Qun and roam around Thedas are just "okay." The ones who remain in Seheron and fight against the Qunari and everyone else are just annoying... to everyone...
