I must ask, how exactly are the Qunari an equal rival to the Tevinter Imperium?

Sure, they're physically imposing and good warriors, but how much good does it do against top notch mages?

1) There are very few top notch mages in Tevinter. Most of Tevinter army is made of mundane slaves and mercenaries.

2) Qunari also have mages, weaker ones, but still have them.

3) Qunari have gunpowder / cannons.

4) Qunari have superior numbers in general.

Tevinter maintains a professional army of legionnaires. Slaves and liberati are not allowed to serve in the military.

Also qunari had steel along with the cannons which apparently threw Thedasian armies all together off balance. Not forgetting the element of surprise.

To be fair they did a fairly decent job except for all the censorship (and even that wasn't so bad initially). When they screwed up 5ds though I got really pissed.

Who cares about steel? That was like tier 3 in DAO, dragon bone and volcanic aurum are where it was at.

Which one? Classic Fallout games that its combat is turn-based or modern Fallout games, that's action-role playing? Nevertheless, I do recommended you try both classic and modern Fallout games. As for the story, it's debatable which games haveg the best story, but most of it minus Fallout 3 has great story, incredible writing. It also has high replay value. Well, if you're into RPG game, Action-RPG game or RPG game set in a Post Apocalyptic world then it's a must have! :P

Mhm, in the absence of The Witcher, I need to play something else. The aesthetics of the game does not attract me.

The series takes place two hundred years after a nuclear war between China and America. In that war civilization as a whole ended outside of a handful of pockets.

The Vault project being the most notable. In these vaults (massive underground fallout shelters) humanity endured the end of the world.

Outside these vaults however the world was a burnt and warped wasteland of radiation and horrors that had been birthed by it. From those vaults emerged humans who began to resettle the world.

Creating tribes and settlements; the most notable civilizations in Fallout thus far are the NCR (new california republic) a collection of cities and towns under a single governance operating on pre war notions of equality, justice and capitalism.

The other civilization though...

Caesar's legion.

It's a massive army of slaves that effectively controls much of the American south west; it's population made up of conquered settlements and tribes.

From it's native Arizona to the far reaches of new Mexico or Utah it's expansion has never stopped.

Outside of the south west there are other groups, other societies.

It's finally ready, Monkey. Sorry for the wait. I do have a bigger size, and I'll send that through pm if you'd like it.

Spoiler

There's always something for me to agonize over after I "finish" something. This time it's the skin consistency primarily. Still, I hope this caught the feeling you wanted.

Edit (other version, without skin smoother):

There is more faction in the Wasteland vying for power and control though. I still remember convincing the Master to give up, and take down the Enclave. :P

If you're truly interest in the lore, Red. This may be a good place to start.

The Enclave and Master are too plot related to explain.

I'm thinking of joining Fallout, never played, someone recommend? has a good story ?

I went through a period of obsession with Fallout 3, right before my Mass Effect obsession took over. Liam Neeson alone makes it worth it, imo.

Monkey looks a bit Egyptian. :P

lol. I can see that. The shirtless (and loincloth?) thing was actually not my original intention...It just kind of happened that way. I theorize that she took his upper garments off.

You are so sweet, Monkey. I'm honored you made it your avatar. In exchange, will you start calling me "Arti" again? Don't get me wrong, I like "milady" just fine, but you never call me "Arti" anymore.  :(  :P

Ever play Marvel vs Capcom 3? It's quite remarkable how well they translated his (post-mutation) moveset and playstyle.
