As Kotal Kahn would say: History is written in Blood, not speeches.
I had to Google the name.
I don't honestly care what some self deluded whelp who anoints himself with that particular title thinks of anything.
It made me wish I could practice a few interrogation techniques on the fellow though.

I don´t know if it is a practice there but sure would look cool (in its own way). At least darkspawn knew it as they crucified Cailan´s body.Isnt it infection/dehydration that kills people from that?
Oh just thought of something! Would tevinter crucify people i understand romans(not sure of byzantines) did that

*slides glasses up slightly*
The Legion adapts.
The chosen terrain favors the offense.
Note the usage of intermediate range artillery and fire support to negate the ranged advantage of the defense.
Also...the veterans...Painted Rock Tribe...the Legionares of Arizona itself take the field in the second wave after the upper level and gate have been secured.
Following the closure of the primary NCR fall back point the Legion continues it's assault within the Dam it self.
This isn't the Legion under Joshua; this is Lanius.
If you actually bothered to examine the tactics you'd realize likely the encircled position of the NCR is reminiscent of a classic pincer.
Not the undying wall of flesh of the prior battle but cold, calculated, focused intent.
*adjust glasses slightly"
Well, we all know that this is the case that certain psychotic mailman aid the Legion.
That doesn't mean they are the only one who can adapt, and in fact the Recruit Legionary is very slow to adapt to changing battlefield situation because they are trained to obey their superior without question regardless of who's holding a Legate title. Your disciplined style of warfare can be exploited, and it'll be exploited again, once the veteran or officer is eliminated it'll leave you with the unstable and confused army. Not to mention that the Recruit Legionary who's the bulk of Caesar's Legion military are not provided with high quality firearms as well.
While the NCR can use range artillery and fire support they have at the Hoover Dam to break the legion's vanguard as well. We are equal at this point.
Assuming it'll be that easy for them, and you should know that the NCR has their veterans as well, Heavy Infantry Corps, Veteran Rangers has bolstered the NCR defense at the Dam and throughout the Mojave. Not to mention that the First Recon can move to bolster the NCR at Camp Forlorn Hope as well, and the NCR army is vast like the Legion.
Nice try, Z. However, even the Monster of the East himself refuse to fight a losing battle, and admit that Mojave campaign drain too much of the Legion's strength that needed in the East. All it takes for Lanius to stand down is a word from the Courier. That said, even if the Legion won at the Dam and successfully conquer the Mojave Wasteland, it will not be the end of the NCR, while your Caesar's Legion are doomed to fall apart, doomed to tear each other from the inside if Caesar is gone.
I do, and I admit the NCR are at a disadvantage, but it won't be that easy for the Legion to take the Dam. Thanks for mentioning it though.
Well, this can continue forever in the circle, Z. But I shall leave the fates of these factions vying for power and the Mojave Wasteland to certain mailman who was shot in the head. XD

The opposite occurs, another leader is selected and it continues.
Perhaps not as it would under Caesar but it does continue.

Yes, Kotal Kahn is the new Emperor of Outworld after having kicked Mileena of the throne.

In terms of lineage yes. But is Outworld, nobody cares about lineage, even Shao Kahn does not care.

I do admit I love the notion that the Legion is somehow doomed if it's final founder dies despite that not happening in the game itself.
The opposite occurs, another leader is selected and it continues.
Perhaps not as it would under Caesar but it does continue.
I doubt they'll kill off two major powers in the Wasteland anytime soon though, and both factions will face challenges but it'll struggle to survive.

I'm all about working for myself in NV, but Mr.House comes second. You can't never really kill off a major power, because there's always someone waiting in the shadow in those factions.

I agree with this notion.
And according to Sawyer it's about the truth.
In NV you see only the militant body of the Legion but outside of the borderlands and across the Colorado you have civilization.
Regional governors, Generals, civilians, commerce, law, daily life...it's a Empire.
Caesar wanted Vegas but he already had a kingdom.

Just kidding! Why are we fighting each other when there's the real threat, and a common enemy to us, the Thalmor and their Aldmeri Dominion.

It's almost a stereotype to me be a supporter of Stormcloak in a country full of snow. Thalmor used well their lines and connections, the north bled for almost nothing. I think these elves are a problem in general if we consider the references.

I noticed that too, and as far as I've seen some players who support Stormcloaks are from Germany, Nordic countries or a country full of snow. One should never underestimate Thalmor and their power, strength and connections, the Civil War in Skyrim benefit no one but the Aldmeri Dominion, and the Empire's strength are needed to quell the rebellion instead of preparing for the next war with the Dominion. While Skyrim bleed for nothing. I wouldn't consider every Altmer a Thalmor's supporter, but Tamriel is better off without Thalmor and their dominion. At least we share the same enemy, Red.
Annd we're quite off-topic isn't it? ![]()

I think no one cares more about off topic. :B
It was a difficult decision for me and I almost regretted it when I found out some things in the long line of quests. It's hard to break apart a place of a great empire. Seriously, I still have doubts about this choice, of course not on the same scale as a DA or ME. I'm a big fan of the empire but I clung to skyrim, it may be a cultural thing. I would be 100% Stormcloak if they suffer much oppression of the empire, but not the case, some exaggerations. So I am 51% Stormcloak ![]()

How right you are. ![]()
It's always hard to break apart from something we loved or familiar with, but many Stormcloaks support consider the Empire in current state worthless. I do believe TES VI may ignore the result of civil war in Skyrim, and there's no clear winner. Both sides may be forced to take up their arms to fight to Dominion. Heh, there's many Nords who still support the Empire, and serving in the Legion you know? Seriously though, I remember siding with the Stormcloaks once, and even though I created different characters on subsequent play-through who's more suitable to side with the rebel. Something always reverses me to side with the Empire. I just don't trust Ulfric, and believe that he has ulterior motive, and I think that independence Skyrim alone couldn't withstand the might of the Dominion. Well, I like how the Empire turns out to be not that cruel oppressor, and the Stormcloaks not that noble freedom fighter. ![]()
