o.o The Darkside elite were bad asses.

After I tried that free mmo star wars game for 30 min I have not had any desire to return to that franchise. Completely killed any interest.

*Raw power roared in the chamber, the pure and untamed destructive rage of magical energies swirled around him looking for an exit. Even the numerous layers of protective wards and glyphs started to give away for the power slowly dissolving it´s way through them, leaving the chambers stone structure vulnerable. Small red streams of melted stone started to slowly appear all around him. Ukki stood in the eye of the storm elated, letting the power flow through him. He had not felt this strong ever in his life. Magical power answered to his call even more humbly and willingly than ever.

 

"It had to be that stone table", he thought. After the time spent in that tomb he had noticed a peak in his power. Now he could face that Revenant alone and emerge victorious, of that he was sure. "I need to have it here" he thought letting his power calm down. Next time he would test different spell combinations with full power, after his apprentices had repaired all the damaged wards and glyphs in that chamber.

 

Nazlik stood outside the chamber with some of his apprentices listening the deep humming sound coming from inside. After for a while Ukki stood out with a broad smile on his face and the apprentices rushed in to clean the place. "Everything went well?" she asked even she knew the answer, that smile was a good indicator. "Magnificently" he said satisfied, "come, let´s go to the tower. I have informed kitchen to set our dinner there".

 

After they had eaten they sat in the balcony watching the sun set over Minrathous. "What was that thing you had with the Imperator?" Nazlik asked breaking the silence. He turned to look at her surprised, "what do you mean?". "There was tension in the air when I walked in, I know you. I could see it from your eyes" she said, "I hope it is nothing serious".

 

"Nothing serious" he assured calmly, "just politics". "I hope you will not do anything drastic. For my sake, for our sake" she placed her hand on her abdomen. 

"I am doing everything for you, our child and my daughters" he said silently. "I saw a.. vision of future. I need to assure it happens".

"Does that future include warring with the Imperator?" Nazlik asked with a dry tone.

"Imperator.." Ukki said gazing the city, "he is a good man. In his own way. Simple, like all devoted men. Simple and straightforward, powerful. Still just a tool" he said in his thoughts, "such men are useful for a while, but like with all tools, there comes a time when even good tools need to be discharged".

 

"please" Nazlik placed her hand on his thigh, "please refrain from stupid actions just for the sake of appearance and pride".

 

"Oh, do not worry my love. We have a deal. Or more like he blackmails me. Due to my own slip" he viewed her gently, "so I sit back and let him run the show" Ukki said grabbing her arm kissing it, "for now".

 

Nazlik sighted, then changed the subject. "When are we going to test that Eluvian? I remember you said we would do it soon".

"In a day or two actually" Ukki said, "I have collected some items for us to use there. Besides, if we are going to travel through the mirror we have to do it soon. You are approaching a state where any travel is not wise. Let alone combat" he said looking at her small belly mound.

 

"that reminds me.." Nazlik said standing up and pulling him with her. She pulled him in the chamber, with a sparkle in her eye "I feel so very hungry these days". Nazlik pushed him in the bed and climbed on him, "it must be my condition.."*

Could be thought I never been a friend of mmo´s in general either. If it had been a single player version then maybe.

What I meant is how (Orlesian) Andrastian Chantry's influence and power has spread to all southern nations of Thedas. I do believe it's necessary for the Imperial Chantry to remain strong, and they must prevent Andrastian Chantry's teaching to spread over the Imperium. Otherwise, other beliefs may give people doubt, and the Imperium will suffer crisis of faith once again. 

I think...religion in this case will always be strong, given the fact that supernatural things happen normally and the only explanation is god, maker, whatever. And that comes with political power and also those in power always wants to stay in power. The chantry is not a ''rival'' the Qunari can not be considered rivals. There is no religion to oppose the familiar one.

True enough, and as StreetMagic has pointed out, Tevinter has a strong sense of status and hierarchy and the Orlesian Chantry already looks weak after all that occurred. I suppose I overestimate the Orlesian Chantry's influence and underestimate the Imperial Chantry's influence and power, and you're right those in power will always want to stay in power. I just fear that the outside influence may shake the Imperium, but after all the crisis in the southern Thedas. Now I think the Orlesian Chantry will take a long while to lick it's wound, and the Qunari hasn't had that much of success spreading their influence to many nations of Thedas.

 

By the way, how do you think of this new DLC: Jaws of Hakkon, my fellow Tevinter?

It was fast and sudden, Red. Last night, I just saw a list of leaked achievements, and now we have more information regarding to its story, and apparently release date for this DLC. I think it's already released for Xbox One, as for PC it'll be tomorrow. I don't know anything about the release date for other platforms though.

Actually, you can still start this DLC even after you've complete DAI's main quest, and Solas will be absent from the party.

Sounds interesting, I do not know if I will buy, perhaps regret, I think I will see the story before playing.
