Pathfinder, tbh.
TBH, I think best is adding a bit of flavor to the game yourself. You can just have rules / classes that you like from different additions, if you think it through and modify as appropriate.

I remember it well.
It was the third basement floor of the Lord of Baldur's citadel.
My party was being engaged while H met his second God and she convinced him to abandon the quest for a place in her army.
o.o in the later roleplay spin off we did it was slightly more dramatic, he entered the chamber they were fighting dark alliance soldiers in, they pleaded with him to help.
Scorn's eyes widened in disbelief and incomprehension as H instead of joining their struggle, he fought against it, delivering a hellish bolt of light that buried itself into his chest.
...the later bits aren't as interesting.
It involves fleeing a crumbling swamp ruin while a little more then half dead.
