I like smirnoff too, we drink it often. But my favorite one is cirok.
The irony is that the two large Vodka brands I'm fond of aren't even made from potatoes like most vodkas.
- Ciroc is derived from grapes instead of potatoes or wheat.
- Ocean Vodka is made in Maui and derived from sugar cane like rum is.
I tend to favor gin and tequila.
Someday I'll have a glass of Casa Dragone. It must happen.

Mixed?
lol. Preferably not usually.
I recommend both in cocktails with an absinthe rinse, though, especially gin.
Because Absinthe. ![]()

Ever played ring of fire? Best cocktails ever.
I've never participated, but I think I recall watching it being played.
When I went to parties like that, I had a much lower tolerance for alcohol than I have now. Even now...It's an irony considering my job. My coworkers call it my "disability."
Any one of them could drink me under the table with little effort.
Of course, they're all bartenders so, it's a relative thing.

Well I do not like to get wasted myself, just because after the house party is done I like to go dance my as& off at a club, and if I drink too much, it impedes my ability to do so.I've never participated, but I think I recall watching it being played.

Very unpopular stance here in UK, people usually enjoy pubs more.

True vodka is made of potatoes, or grain. Rest is not vodka. ![]()

Same here, absolutely. I want to dance well much more than I want to be drunk.
And I serve too many people who become complete boors when they are drunk to find being in a similar state very attractive.

Well, in that case we need a name for a drink that's made the same way as vodka, but is derived from other things besides potatoes or grain. Any ideas?

Well the english always have been a bit of the dour lot.
Course in Norway our club scene is mostly local corner clubs in the non tourist areas. Strong local spirits.
Imports are usually from the Danes who have such a high opinion of their malted beverages.

Believe it or not but I get slightly flirty when intoxicated. Poetic almost, such waxing of the romantic normally isn't my thing.

I've noticed even here, actually. You once asked who wanted to sit on your lap and hear a story.

I'll dance to anything with a good beat, but the only formal training I have is Ballet (and that was for only about a year).
I live in a city straight out of foot loose where no businesses are allowed to host dancing, but San Francisco is about 45 minutes away, so a friend and I will go there every couple of months. We're first on the dance floor type of people.
Otherwise, I have dance games on the Kinect for exercising and keeping in practice, and I do borrow a few things from those. Almost nothing makes me happier than dancing does. ![]()

Other than that you are awesome. I want to invite you to party now. Unfortunately the distance..
I actually love dancing games, but I use the arrow platforms like dance in the groove or dance revolution, sometimes me and my mates go to arcades for those, and do competitions, on difficulty and quality. Unfortunately expert difficulty doesn't resemble any real dances, its just 8 steps a second in a sporadic motion.
