Magic is a cancer in the heart of our land, just as it was in the time of Andraste. And like her, we are left with no choice but to purify it with fire and blood.

_I smell heresy around here! Adrianus! Prepare the heretic re-education device!

_Do you mean the burning stake Sir?

_Yes

even if we buy into this idea that one may reach THE BLACK CITY! safely we would need more slaves to do so.

for this we must retake the south!

Yes, I do agree that we require the south's resources. However we must be cautious not to expend too much effort in this endeavour. The Qunari are like hounds, once they smell a hint of weakness they will invade in full force.

The Inquisitor has the perfect opportunity to explore the Fade, being able to physically enter the Fade without needing blood magic or ridiculous amounts of lyrium. Who else is better suited to explore it?

Therefore I would suggest we move against qunari first. The use of soft power in south would be more appropriate at that time. Oxmen will provide us enough blood for the ritual and it won´t anger the mundanes.

a great proposal and the disgraced Atlas Dorian has been seen travelling with him.

a team should be sent to touch base with Dorian, its time he paid his debts to the Imperium!

*Re enters the ante chamber of the magisterium, his hood still drawn sipping wine from a dragon shaped chalice. Magister Aquilinus seats himself calmly along the front row*

I will honor my lord, our lord Dumat and be silent...for now. I am eager to hear our plans to re enter the fade. This intrigues me.

Remember what Cassandra says to us, You walked out of the Fade and our soldiers found you, the only one who escaped the blast that killed thousands. And you have no idea how you survived? At this moment, you are the only threat I see.

While I do not appreciate the hostility, and the poor first impressions the lady gives us, we walk out of the Fade. Not wake up from a trance. Walk. We are retracing the steps of the ancients. Who else but a human mage is suited to embark on this glorious task?

well our only reference guide is

A: 2/3 aount of lyrium
B: slaves.. lots of them
C: summoning circle

I can handle A and B i have means and know a dwarf who can aquire us enough. But the circle i dont know.

Perhaps we can send a team into the breach/tear instead

A human mage is suited for the task, I'm definitely playing one eventually. I'm playing an elven mage first because of the Eluvians and how it may or may not be all related.

If they really wanted it to be so specific, they wouldn't even bothered making the game the way it is. It'd be some linear action adventure game without any options.

So it would be like DA2 then.

How so? I can go through the Keep right now and see a lot of variation in the options.

It was cinematic, but it wasn't linear or lacked character options.

DA 2 was vey linear. Yea there were some choices but it wasnt nearly as open ended as Origins.

I agree about DAO, but disagree about very linear. I can't imagine what standard you're using.

Linear is Devil May Cry or God of War or any beat em up. Specific character, specific plot direction, no choices, etc.. It's a whole different category of games.

true enough one who doesn't know the first thing about magic shouldn't be trusted with the task.

There's no one else "walking out of the fade" except whatever random character you roll. It's plot power. Not class.

Why do some of you try to be authoritative and dominant... in a single player game? Serious question. Is this just a Tevinter RP'ing thing? Because it's always the Tevinter fans who need to be more "powerful" than everyone. lol

I need to understand.
