How the hell do they even get there.
Even with FTL it would take centuries.
Spess magic.

if I understand what I have heard correctly. The game is set a long time after the events of ME3 and while certain things that happened in ME3 might make for certain situations that affect life in the future there is no tie to the previous trilogy.
I'm sure there will be some Easter Eggs. You will probably find the recording Liara made, but I think thats about it. Maybe statues to old characters such as Wrex.
What about the Mass Relays?

Spess magic.
2,538,000 light years, the current estimate to the next galaxy over.

This is real ****. They have found that supermassive black holes play a fundamental role in how galaxies work and even created. They could fly into a black hole and pop out over there ![]()
I don't know how they might spin it, but they say that Andromeda is actually "falling" towards us. And some time wayyyyy in the future they think our galaxies will collide....depending on time it could be...closer? Idk just thinking out loud. I guess we will find out.
There a BBC Documentary called "Supermassive Black Holes" if you have an interest in this kind of stuff. It touches on all of this.

I'm done with Bioware and preordering.
DAI was less then fulfilling.
HEAR HEAR! I will buy ME4. It will be months after release when its actually fixed and not broken like it will be when its released and also by then it will be cheap. Or you could always wait for a GOTY edition if they decide to do that this time.
I believe I am done with DA as a series for good. Unless they come up with a MP that is even better than ME can do.

Because the guys on the DA team stil knows how to create a captivating world. They are marvelous world builders, they just wouldn't know plot and progression if it hit them square in the face..

Inquisition is a decent if not great stand alone title.
Almost wish I hadn't have played the first two games.
Anyway, I loved the entirety of the ME trilogy. No other rpg for me even begins to touch it.
Can't remember the last time I pre-ordered something, but I am definitely gameflying and scrutinizing anything new that drops.

Considering Gaider's and Weeke's latest books, they actually do know these things. Odd that it often doesn't translate well into the games.
BTW, how has this thread ended up here from the original topic.

Those two guys are only, what 1/4 of the writer team? Would explain the rollercoaster ride in quality DA:I is.
It's been a lul in Tevinter discussions since revelations about the Elves in DA:I. Also, raging_monkey is having a break on his rp.

Dang Brits (or wannabe brit in Monkies case) Worse than a guy who won't even give credit when its due. (Drasanil)
Hey! I do give credit where it's due, that the Qunari are due so little is completely incidental and hardly a fault of mine ![]()
As for ME4, the premise looks interesting, here's hoping we can claim Andromada for humanity and wash it clean in the blood of xenos scum. It's bad enough we have to share one galaxy, we shouldn't have to share the second!

Then admit it! Yes, the Qun may be cuddly, yes how the Qun is or "was" seems to be changing blah blah blah BUT! Admit you laughed when you saw the end of the Chargers quest and that Dreadnaught...or youtube it if nothing else. The mighty Dreadnaughts!11!1!
And admit going off of how they are treated now they would be a good addition to the game and offer potential for many more laughs...especially given their attitude and presence in DA2.
Admit you want to see them in the next DA!

Of course I want the Qunari in DA4, their cuddly ways and rickety dreadnoughts bring delight to all who witness them. In fact I'm eager to see what new "improvements" Bioware deigns to inflict upon them in the next instalment.

Good. That's all I was looking for. For someone that hates Qunari as much as you theres nothing to be but impressed. Even if it took turning them into a joke to hear something like this haha.
As long as they keep with their vision I can respect that. If they keep flip flopping then they should be ashamed of themselves. Choose your path and take it. As long as they keep with the new vision I can laugh with you guys. Just don't pull another 180 and go back to DA2.

I always thought the Qunari were an important part of the world, all be it a part that would be fun to oppose and/or destroy since I didn't care all that much for what they represent. If anything what Bioware did ruined them in some part for me, before I opposed them because I didn't like what they represented in game, now I loathe them for the cuddlified PC mush they've been turned into and what that represents outside of the game.

Ah yes. At the sake of typing a novel I will just say "I agree"
I'm sure its obvious, but I still think the original concept was very impressive and its nice to have something that was so unique. (it was in my mind)
Heres to the vints putting an end to the "fake" Qunari.

I do miss the qunari from DA2. Arishok was a worthy adversary. I know bull was the only actual qunari we saw in DAI, and supposedly a good guy, but he was quite meager compared to Arishok.

Qunari as a credible looming alien menace breathing down the neck of Thedas? Fun. Qunari as the foremost builders of rickety dreadnoughts and Krem PSA deliverers? No thanks.
