Ugh, don't even remind me about the cleaning up part. I love going crazy in the kitchen, especially with friends (I scared people on snapchat, lol
). Everyone is welcome to the Nug stew, but dwarves go crazy over it. It's usually food for poor dwarves. I need to become an expert on Thedas, so I can figure more of this out. If Qunari has advance technology like the devs said, they should probably put that to use now. According to Iron Bull, they have a great naval army, so the pirates probably won't be able to take them on. I feel they would have a better time fighting on the sea than the land.
I believe that the survey is correct, especially with the spoils of the qunari pack, and with Bioware cutting off last gen, I'm hoping this next DLC be pretty intense with full-scale on large battles. The Blight and the Breach didn't scare the south, so I'm pretty sure that the Qunari won't either. I guess it's going to be very interesting for you, especially since you're playing as a Qunari.
Heh, even if I didn't remind you about that, someone else will. I'm sure we all love going crazy with friends regardless of place and situation.
(Scaring people on snapchat huh? I'll have to watch out for you then
) Everyone deserve a chance to try this masterpiece, and those haughty dwarven nobles can stick with their fancy foods, they don't know what they are missing. We both need to become an expert, and BioWare need to reveal more information about Thedosian cuisine. Aye, while I think they possess advance technology, it doesn't make them indestructible, and there's those flammable dreadnoughts.
Joking aside, I doubt pirates' fleet alone could stand a chance again Qunari or Imperium's fleet, but a combined fleet of various nations, including the Tevinter Imperium could prove a formidable foe for those Oxmen. We have yet to see the Qunari deploy their technology on land in full effect.
I sure hope it's correct as I'm tired of killing darkspawn, demon, venatori or red templar already. Beside the inevitable Qunari invasion was hinted since Origins. I can understand why BioWare cut off the last gen support, it's a shame though. I believe if the leaked information from that survey is correct, then it may be one of the most intense Story DLC, I mean we're not only face a Qunari invasion, but we may be forced to go after "the one who starts it all" or Qunari forces, and we'll decide the fate of the Inquisition. I doubt we actually get to face an entire Qunari invasion force, but a large scale battle is always welcome. I'd say bring it on, Oxmen, the Tevinter Imperium, the southern nations of Thedas and the Inquisition is ready, and my Vashoth will stand defiant to the end. ![]()
I forget how that place was long ago... but is the same thing >_>

Honestly, I want to visit Russia someday if given a chance, and I think we'll need to discuss about this when I have a lot of free time.

I just want to live my life the way I want, and that doesn't involve cleaning up my mess!
There's a time and place for the crazy random activities, even when I want to be crazy all the time
. The noble dwarves may eat well, but they don't have the true luxury of actually enjoying the meal for its taste. The poor dwarves don't know when they'll get their next meal. Cespar's backstory touches on some of these issues.
I think we can help each other learn about Thedas and the different races' culture. I think the World of Thedas: Vol 2 has information on their food, but I still haven't gotten a chance to actually read the book. It would be fun to try making some of their food in the kitchen.
I think that the Qunari are caution about actually going out with their advance technology, especially if they aren't ready to go to war. Otherwise, people would salvage their equipment and use it against them. Qunari loves converting people to the Qun, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are pirates out there that are part of the Qun. The Imperium might be the only ones worthy of fighting the Qunari, but they'll also need to watch out for their slaves, especially if they're planning a "secret" rebellion.
We also killed mabari war hounds, spiders, bears, bandits, and orlesians
. Yea, Sten wasn't very subtle about the war, but he isn't going to look for Brosca on the battle field. The Qunari attack on Thedas has always been there in the background, and it's cool to think how the Qunari has also been planning in secret (background). Everyone has been worried about the Mage-Templars and Elves, but they won't be expecting the Qunari. Southern Thedas is going to need the help of the Imperium, but Dorian, Krem, and Iron Bull (Tal-Vashoth) will probably be the only ones that will know how to take the Qunari down. I don't even want to discuss anything about the last-gens. It's sad, but Bioware knew what they had in mind would be impossible on them.
The survey made this DLC sound intense, and It seems like it's going to be a epic showdown with battles everywhere. Solas is the person that started all of this, so I look forward to meeting my old friend/mentor. I hope the choices for deciding the Inquisition's fate actually matters and have an impact on future titles. I think this DLC will only be setting it up for the future. Kind of like the books and the Legacy DLC did for Inquisition. The Qunari seems like a worthy opponent to face in combat.
I recently made a Qunari that I'm playing alongside my dwarf. I'm really interested in how they're going to react to a Qunari Inquisitor, but also because I really need to finish a Qunari inquisitor's play through. ![]()

That's not possible, I'm afraid as we don't always get what we want.
Heh, I can understand that, Cespar. Hey! My (main) warden is from noble origin, despite being exiled, and now a warden. Don't get me wrong, while my warden is of noble origin. He's humble and down to earth person, he just proud of being Aeducan, proud but not arrogant. Frankly, I doubt the noble of Thedas or real life have that luxury of enjoy the meal for its taste. I know what you mean though, and I like how your story touches these issues. Argh, I really want to read it now.
I'm not an expert or lore master, but we can definitely help each other. I like to think that we fill each other gap, exchanging knowledge about the world, race, culture and so on. Well, the World of Thedas Vol.2 has a good chunk of information on Thedosian cuisine, but I doubt it cover every food people in Thedas create. There are always room for more. Some people actually try that, and it turn out alright. Is that why their flammable dreadnoughts explode instead of sinking like normal ship?
I'm quite certain the Tevinter Imperium and the Qunari are cautious about the secret of their arsenal got out into the enemy hand. Hmm Duke Fall from Grace trying to learn Qunari's secret isn't it?
If I remember correctly most convert who follow the Qun is either human or elves, and many of them are former slave of the Imperium. Maybe, they exist, but I think their number is very few, and they would have to give up their piracy life. Most pirates hold their free life dearly, and not to mention that The Llomerryn pirates (now Felicisima Armada) were once arch nemesis to the Qunari's fleet so I expect them to fight rather than submit to the Qun. Yeah, I don't think an uprising will be the end of the Imperium, but it'll shake Tevinter and cripple it.
We killed so many things that I forgot about some of them so thank you for the reminder.
He was very open about it, and he isn't going to look for Aeducan as well. Aside from the Warden I think everyone in the party knew since he directly tell you like that. Most people focus on immediate problem or what they've seen, but I believe some ruler, military leader or people with high status and power from the Tevinter Imperium or Andrastian nations expected the inevitable Qunari second invasion, at least the Imperium is always on alert. Yeah, it's time BioWare bring this forth, and I hope it'll be one hell of a war like the Exalted Marches against the Qunari in the past. I doubt it'll be that easy for the Imperium to send their army to aid Southern Thedas, at least impossible without ulterior motive, but then again all Andrastian nations are comfortable leaving Tevinter to fight this war alone for centuries.
I expect Dorian, Iron Bull and the Chargers (if they're still around in your world state) to have a cameo appearance in DA4, and your decision in DAI determines IB's stance. I don't wish to talk about such subject either, and while understand BioWare reason. I don't agree or support it. ![]()
At least the way they describe it in the survey made it all intense. I only hope that they'll live up to their word. I hate to point this out, but this is perfect opportunity to see the Inquisition force in action in the large scale battle with your own eyes (exclude Adamant and Arbor Wilds), instead you're seeing them being lazy guarding fort you captured or camp or how they operate being described in war table mission only. The devs kept telling us that one of the main themes of DAI is "leadership", and yet I can't actually lead my soldier into the battlefield or fight the dragon. ![]()
Well, I look forward to see him and to foil his plan as well.
It will be the big decision, perhaps not to the level of world changing decision, but it's still big decision that should be matter nonetheless. I'm just tired of seeing BioWare claim that every decision you made is matter, then retcon 70% of it in the next game. I believe it's safe to assume that this DLC from the survey or the later will be a bridge between DAI and the future DA game. Yeah, I hope we get to deal with someone like Sten or the Arishok (DA2) they are the opponent you take seriously.
I hope they'll be a good friend or at least not try to kill each other.
Well, you should finish it. Meanwhile, here I am redoing my canon play-through one last time everything will be the same except that I switch the class from mage to rogue, and I'm enjoying being Qunari archer. I'm actually struggling with the idea of Qunari rogue for a while. (Thankfully Lurtz change that)

I think there are people here who is a fan of the Elves or whose character an Elf or Qunari. Not going to lie, but the tone of the setting is getting lighter in each game they may as well rename Thedas to "Wonderland". I'm just here to witness Minrathous with my own eyes, and that maybe it.

It's kinda sad when you think about the glory of Dragon Age: Origins or the good part of DA:II. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say DAI sucks, but it's very shallow when you compare it to Origins or think about what it could have been. I'm having a room for one more game, and I just hope they'll do Tevinter Imperium's glory justice.

We don't always get what we want, but that doesn't mean we can't take pleasure in the moments when we do get what we want. When I did play my Aeducan, he was the white knight in shining armor. He didn't let his nobility get to his head, which tends to get to many men and women. That eventually would lead up to the common people rebelling against the nobles. Aeducan was even special, being the king's son/daughter and future commander of the king's army. But what Brosca faced is personal and dear to my heart, which allowed me to get attached to him.
Well, there are so many things going on in the Dragon Age that I believe everyone can't enjoy the small things in life, like food. But, the Protagonist/Love Interest moments are great, because it allows for the hero to take a break from all of the chaos going on around them to actually enjoy the small things. That allows the player to relate to the protagonist a lot more, because we can empathize with the protagonist in that moment. You're going to be the first one I'll share some of my short stories with, my friend.
I know that we can use Wikipedia and read both of the World of Thedas books. The Dragon Age's lore really isn't that complicated, but when you're diving into the theories of the lore, that is when things become a little more complicated. Speculation is still fun, no doubt about that. As long as there is some food that I can recreate, then I'll be happy.
It wouldn't surprise me that the Qunari designed their ship on purpose to blow up. That would certainly keep their secrets, secrets.
Gatt and Tallis are the only two elves we've actually met that are part of the Qun. I know Gatt was an ex-slave, but I don't really know too much about Tallis, besides her being bad ass in Redemption. I would be happy to fight the Qunari as a pirate, which is what I'm hoping for as a backstory/origins in DA4. I just don't know how the pirates can stand against the Qunari's Dreadnought, but then again, we really haven't witness what the pirates are capable of. Isabella survived on the sea against the Qunari.
I'm very indifferent about Sten, but I can't say that I'm not interested in seen how he behaves as the Arishok. He learned a lot fighting along side the Hero of Ferelden, and seen most of the Ferelden. Sten is going to know the area rather well during the attack. It makes sense to focus on the task at hand, which usually leaves people very vulnerable. The Southern Andrastians are more worried about the Divine's task and restoring order to things. They aren't going to be thinking about the Qunari invasion like the Tevinter Imperium is. The Imperium is always ready for war with the Qunari.
I don't think the Imperium would even want to aid Southern Thedas. The Qunari wipes out Southern Thedas, and then the Imperium comes in and wipes out the Qunari. The Imperium will then have the Northern and Southern Thedas, which would benefit them more. Iron Bull and Dorian will most likely be a cameo in DA4. Cadash is going to save the Dreadnought (not sure yet), while Adaar is going to save the Chargers.
Bioware Devs said in an interview that the last gens couldn't handle the all war stuff, which is why we didn't see any really big battles in the Vanilla game. Who knows what's going to happen in the upcoming DLC.
The decision might actually matter a lot, but if we're going to the north, then no one is actually going to care. We may get one unique line about the Inquisition. I really prefer each game stand on it own. Like the choices we make in that game should show up later in that game or that game's DLC.
Yea I'd a Qunari rogue at first, but then I switched to s/s warrior. Cespar is an archer. I prefer fighting with a bow, but Inquisition's archer combat isn't the best. But, I'm also redoing my canon/first play through right now, which is Archer Cadash.
