My fellow Magisters. Even though those heathen oxmen are Imperiums greatest threat we should not underestimate these veil tears. I agree that we should find out who this "inquisitor" is and wants. We should approach him with gifts to see if he could be turned working with the Imperium. That task should be given to someone with extraordinary talent for, how would I say.. influence. But we should discuss that more later.

In the meantime, I want to bring to your attention a thing you might find most interesting. It has come to my attention that there is a possible Insomniari, right here, in Minrathous. This boy, half-elf, came here willingly and was apparently sent by the Champion of Kirkwall. There has been attempts to keep this thing hidden *glances around the room*, not naming anyone, but I see this issue to be so important that the Council needs to know about. Now, if this lad proves to be as powerful as his potential suggests then I believe we have a counterpower for the Inquisitor should we be rejected. And even a key to reach the golden city through the breach, like Magister Keroko said.

We need to put up a team around this boy and nominate one from our own ranks to lead it. If nothing else he can be our best weapon against veil tears too close to the capital. He should be able to prevent too many demons from entering our realm, atleast if there are too many demons for our Magisters to control. Also, we should not forget his potential in containing souther nations leaders through dreams, a great example of soft power. Maybe, just maybe he could assist one of our strike teams even to reach the hated qunari triumvirate? Think about the options. Nevertheless, I regret to tell you that I cannot be available for the task since I do not posses enough knowledge over the somniari studies.

*twirls wine in goblet* I will leave the decision in the hands of this Council.

Magister Keroko, I understand your admirable ambition and frustration when it comes to history.

However, let me be clear that the evidence for Hessarian's might is clearly seen in history. The old magisters, the old priests, the old ways, were weak and were removed because they made Tevinter weak. It was through Hessarian and the Transfiguration that Tevinter was able to rise again, and it was through the Imperial Chantry that mages were able to rise again in Tevinter.

I agree, the unnecessary burdens of the Chantry in the past was a fault, it was a fault in trying to appease southern barbarians in order to have a unified faith and in the hope to guide the barbarians to the truth with our participation. However, those loyal to Tevinter and the Maker soon came to realize that south would not budge from its fear mongering, from its hate of our past, so we did what we had to and formally announced our dissatisfaction of their Divine and elected our own.

This was after many years of fruitless appeasement, but when we elected a Divine from the Circle, oh, how glorious it was to see the gifted chosen once again for their divine gifts.

The Imperial Chantry, the true Chantry, does not wish to reduce magic into mere amusement, it is a gift of the Maker and should be revered as such. We only stress caution, and the discourage the foolishness of the apprentices to embrace blood magic when they do not fully understand what they are embracing. Many magisters have already warned about the use of blood magic strictly from a practical standpoint, and I would encourage that they be heeded.

Let us be the Masters of ourselves and not the Proud who would fall again.

We must be cautious, we have few allies. Perhaps when the Qunari are weakened and the hate of the south dissipates, then we can see to the more... radical reforms that many magisters have discussed before.

i have seen these boy... he's willfull, but he does have skill but lacks conviction in certain areas... the southerner in me says lets train him so more but my love for my country compels me to say use him and grant him a title and lets see how he does. I nominate magister rose and soldier to lead the team... who is his master we must speak with him to gauge his power level

well looking at Mage's pride lyrics (the tevene ones)

and it follows Latin rules for pronoun's. it seem's the song is actually a woman and man singing to each other.

hence the different spelling of your.

If the translations correct it seems to be a different song then i first thought.

It's hard to grasp but I believe its a duet between woman and a man.

the man being a king and the woman well as the lyrics say Lady, beautiful, of the sun.

the male tell's the female its not her fault

while she tell's him he has no shame.

he seems to be saying he's jealous that she's given herself to others but not him.

this unreturned love drives him to hatred and ultimately die as nothing.

song seems to be about how shes wounded his pride.

Ya, just taking a single look at it, I thought it was just talking about having no shame with magic, and not understanding why either the mages are not free (no kings?) or why some have magic while another doesn't or something... and the beautiful lady of the sun was Andraste... or at least symbolizing Andraste.

I was thinking the no fault had to do with being born with or without magic, and the no shame was the mage being unashamed of the gift...

I need to look at that video again...

Much as it revolts me to leave the stifling bag of lies that is the Chantry in power, I yield to magister Dearog's point that we have more important matters to consider.

The breach is our most immediate concern. We do not know what it is or where it came from, other than that a certain group by the name of... what was it, the Venatori? Is involved in its creation.

What exactly do we know of this 'Venatori?' Reports are coming in that they bear Tevinter markings, but the name itself strikes little recognition.

Yes, Magister Rose would probably be a good choice given her heritage. The boy might be inclined to trust her more. She should have full authority to take this boy away from his current master. I can compensate the monetary loss his master might claim.

I have to excuse myself for now, the evening is late and I have couple of apprentices waiting for me in my tower. I will see you all I hope in the next meeting. Please ponder what I have said. Good night and may the Gods watch over us in our efforts for the Imperium.

Hessarian was weak. The penultimate traitor and blasphemer. His faith is a perversion. There is no maker, only Dumat.

Well, at least Urthemiel is still about if one does the Dark Ritual.

Urthemiel lives again! However, will he live as a savior, a destroyer, or just a witness to the world around him?

It really depends on what Morrigan has been teaching him.

Speaking about the OGB if he appears I would definetly love an option for a mage inquisitor to have him as an apprentice.

Problem with that is that its likely to never amount to anything important given there are too many games where he isn't alive and kicking :(

You have to admire his ambition and quick thinking though. He saw a chance for power and took it with both hands, switching one mask for another and rising to power in an order that by all rights should have been calling for his head.

Speaking of my son, I wonder what his mother, our beloved Morrigan is doing in Orlais? Advising the Empress certainly but in what? And what became of my Amell Warden when he went through the Eluvian ?
