It'll take a while but when the new game comes, the devoted servants of the Imperium, i.e us will be ready to drive back the savage Qunari and defeat the Dread Wolf. In the meantime brush up on the Imperium and look forward to the new comic Mage Killer, set in Minrathous.

A question about Tevinter (this seems to be the right place to ask)

since the Imperium is split up into classes many based on magic and family history would a child of a high class who was born without magic instantly fall down the class levels, or would they stay in same class as their family?

Most likely. Tevinters highly value magic and pair  their children off to produce the best quality mages. It's a bit like eugenics, pairing people off because they look a certain way and encouraging the magic gene to become more prominent. As for the mundane in the family? Kept in the background or married off to someone outside Tevinter.

Many here theorize about the ground of the fourth game, Tevinter-Qunari wars, It seems to be closer than we think.

I would believe that such member of the family can still be married away, maybe to some house below the one in question but still usable. He/she still carries the family magic in the blood. Not something to discard after generations of careful breeding.

I convinced Calpernia to betray Corypheus so I really hope we see her again in the next game.

Complete the side mission Under Her Skin which uncovers more info on her and Corypheus, when you finally confront her what you learned in the side quest will enable you to persuade to betray her master. I did it and she has vowed to return to Tevinter. So here's hoping we see her again.

One thing I found weird, I always thought Tevinter and Qunari has always been at war, style 1984, how the hell they were caught off guard?

Seems likely, given that even if you fight her you never get a confirmed killed, she throws herself off a waterfall. In other words she's basically confirmed alive, or unconfirmed dead, in every scenario.

Well I am now on board for the Imperium, seems the next game will involve killing Qunari and Elves and the Tevinters are really good and practiced at that

They were caught off guard by a renewed offensive. It was a surprise. The Qun can be unpredictable in its single mindness. If the decision is made to go to war their whole society just snaps into war pacing.

OMG, are we going to be agreeing on something? lol *joking.

Especially with Dorian become a magister, I'm all aboard fighting for his dream of restoring the honor and glory of the Tevinter Imperium. I will enjoy smashing the Qunari hordes. The only good commie is a dead commie.

Well, it seems it's official, a Tevinter will be the chosen one to take the crap out of that lunatic god.

Now, I have a question, when happens Mage Killer? I kind of took as related that the protagonist is described as a Boba Fett and Dorian's father was slain.

Our triumph is complete.

Time to go North where the good life awaits.

To cast down the False God

To vanquish the Qun

To see Tevinter reborn into the ultimate power of Thedas.

Hear, hear!

Though on some level I kind of hope Solas at least partially succeeds, I mean have you read those codex entries? The Evanuris could teach the Magisterium a few things about lording it over everyone like a boss. "Why yes, I did get a million slaves to carve a mountain in my image in a day. Why? Better the question would be why not?"  :D

I just finished the DLC. I almost completely lost it when the Inquisitor stabbed the map right where I wanted them to.

Tevinter next game, YES!

Ye gods, I just hope that they give the protagonist some real freedom. Allow them to oppose or support, to affiliate themselves with, who and what they please.

Mae and Dorian leading the Lucerni is probably one of the main reasons I'm really interested in heading to Tevinter now.

But I do agree, it'd be fun to have the option to side with a faction and work against the other, or join a faction as a spy working to undermine it.

If Bioware do this, I hope they'd allow us to finally have some agency with how we go about doing it. Rather than the one side or another options we'd have so far, they should handle it in a manner like Fallout, where we're able to work for multiple factions at the same time, especially if they let us have the option to betray them all, such as in the Wild Card ending for New Vegas.

I suppose DA2 came closest to this at times, since most of the game Hawke had being called upon to work as a third party agent for the Viscount, City Guard, Templars, Mage Rebellion, Qunari and Red Jennies.

Sure, the Warden did do a lot of odd jobs for various factions as well, but it was often in service to the goal of stopping the Blight, whereas Hawke was unaligned to any faction and for no other reason than doing someone a favour, or out of their own interest.

Seems likely, given that even if you fight her you never get a confirmed killed, she throws herself off a waterfall. In other words she's basically confirmed alive, or unconfirmed dead, in every scenario.

I'd like to imagine that on the mage-path, Calpernia eventually discovered Corpyheus' plans to control her on her own and defected from the Venatori, freeing her up to return to Tevinter. A bit of handwaving would be needed, but she's simply too good of a character to waste in the series because we happened to align with one side over the other.

I cannot wait for this comic series to come out. Im really looking forward to how such a profession deals with their quarry -after all, they also go after blood mages, not just regulars spellslingers.
