There was a thread a while back asking what sort of HQ you'd like to have in the next game. Lots of requests for a shiny Minrathous mansion, haha.

What would be your ideal home in Tevinter? Their estates are easy enough to imagine (and I salivate at the thought of them, no lie). Have any of the comics showed areas of squalor? Is that where the Liberati live? Varania made it sound like being a free elf sucked pretty bad, but whether that had anything to do with her living conditions (including lack of food, clean water, etc.) I have no idea.

I want opulence, lots of black and gold and mystical trinkets. Imagine if the Phantom of the Opera was hurled into ancient Rome and became an interior designer.

Yes please! Hnnnnng.

Also, I've been thinking about something... eastern Tevinter is supposed to have more Indian or South Asian influences, right? Like, Gaider commented on the question of Dorian's ethnicity with something to that effect. And Fenris mentions tigers, which are native to the area IRL. I wonder what other influences there are.

Does Tevinter have elephants? Dhoti pants? Monsoon season?! I wonder if that would change our perception of how they celebrate certain holidays.

For a bit there, the idea that Tevinters typically ride on Elephants was circling around. I think the devs toyed with the idea and then decided against.

Personally, I like to think they throw lions and tigers into the Gladiatorial amphitheater in Minrathous and make the Gladiators fight them...Terrible, I know, but I'd love to have a scene like that.

Monsoon season would be cool, especially if they alter the weather at a certain point in the regional arc like they did in DAI.

Actually I was trawling the wiki and whaddaya know!

The Imperium draws a variety of soldiers from its territories to form an impressive army. Most noted throughout Thedas, however, is the use of elephant mounts that have been imported into Tevinter for centuries through the coastal colonies near the northwestern jungles. Their cavalry fights on the backs of dracolisks.

Ohoho, yes please. I have this terrible image in my head of some poor qunari slave being subject to exactly that sort of treatment. (I promise I'm not a sadist!)

That would be great. That goes for anywhere we visit, really. I'm picturing warm Antivan nights... though that may have less to do with the weather and more to do with the residents.

In that case, I fiercely hope Dracolisks look different in the next game.

They look so silly to me in DA:I. Which is a shame, because I have a few Inquisitor's for whom a Dracolisk would be a perfect mount choice.

Damn, now I want to see an epic battle with mages, war elephants, dracolisk riders and giant golems against the Qunari war-machine.

Most likely, the actual battles in-game will be more disappointing, if there's any at all :(

They do look a bit goofy. Maybe these are a southern breed? :P

I am curious how the Imperium regards demons and spirits. I recall a conversation between Dorian and Solas where he mentioned that certain mages bind spirits to act as servants. That would be interesting. To realise that your butler was actually a spirit of service this entire time.

^ Uhm, wouldn't you already know? The remark implies that it was an intentional act.

I could deal with that. Dunno if Bioware could. :P

Yeah, I think if you have a spirit servant, you know they're a spirit. It's an interesting concept, though Solas finds it revolting and I'm sure many others would as well. Pretty much just spiritual slavery, right? Because they're bound?

All right spirit servant is a bad idea. Wouldn't mind seeing more types of spirits though.

I can't say anything about that character since the last warning point! :o

That said I still call that fictional piece of trash out on just standing there like a slack jawed yokel as a kid gets their veins opened.

Anyway, find another northerner, that one isn't anything but garbage.

Well, Gaider's done with everything now, isn't he?

But I am impressed with her ability to create cleavage.

We should also take down Alistair, yes, for standing by during a failed Harrowing? His ability to stop it was about as great as hers.

You can. Twice in fact. The first time is in Origins where he can be executed, and the second is in Inquisition where he is left in the Fade.

*shrugs* whatever works for you.

I think Shepard had a line for this-"Hostages only work if you care if they live or not." Something to that effect.

Exterminating templars and recruiting both mages and ex-templars is what's worked for me quite well so far.

Good for you?

Although that statement is inaccurate. But I am working under the assumption that it was meant to be so, also you ignored my dismissal of that threat towards Alistair, I don't care, kill em, don't kill em, personally I don't like the character all that much. He's a very dull character in my eye.

That wasn't a threat, it was a comparison.
