Comparing it to orlais, I'm just holding out hope for an expanded city setting, myself. I'd like Minrathous to be something more than the summer bazaar. I mean I don't need huge crowds of NPCs, but different sections of the city and bits here and there of city life to go and check out would be very cool.

He considers Varania the Thedas equivalent of a house n-word. He also considers real life black americans who don't share his agenda uncle toms and house ******s.

I'm pretty sure the logic that the bioware devs decided to make elves the "bad guys" so they could feel ok with their own real life history of slavery of black people fails as a premise since, if for no other reason, that the majority of the devs are canadian, which doesn't have the same history of black slavery as the US.

Also, the premise just makes no sense. So there's that.

Look. I don't insult in anyone who doesn't agree with my ideals and I never called anyone those names anyway, we"ve already patched up and got along after our fight, and I told him I never insulted him I said about the POTUS is one of them. You believe what you want to believe and I believe whatever I want to believe.

Yes, please. I still find it hard to swallow that Denerim and Orzammar in DA:O felt bigger, more alive and with more distinct personalities than Kirkwall did and that Orlais was reduced to that in a game that had time and resources to make the Hissing Wastes.

Minrathous is the largest city in Thedas. We've had descriptions of several of its many wonders and their defenses. My dream is a city we can visit and a Constantinople-like epic siege at one time or another, but time will tell.

Last I checked POTUS still counts as a black american and therefore counts in my statement, but ok then.

It'd be interesting to have a seige or something where we'd have to help in the city's defense. Maybe make priorities where you can only be in one place at one time but there are two or more trouble spots going. Or you have to choose btwn responding to the attack on the city and leaving the place you've staked out waiting for Solas' forces to act. They make their move in the chaos of the diversion and if you leave you miss it, but if you stay people you like die in the other place (perhaps on the conditional that you inadequately prepared them, maybe. so kinda like Vigil's Keep and Amaranthine?)

It could also be a more developed version of the final battle in DA2 or the first Witcher game. Depending on your choices, you fill face different enemies at different moments and in different places, providing an illusion of choice to the player... even if in the end the result will be more or less the same.

I honestly think they should do without choices next game kinda like a full reboot. Since it's north there should be only vague references and the solar issue something on a mobile game hell I'd vouch for the keep to use as platform

Because you don't know the game but that's for another debate. I still think the Imperium is evil.

Ok picture this: If you are an elf and has suffered from slavery and racism from them, would you love them? They raped children who are slaves and butchered slaves with blood magic out of barbarism would you forgive them? After all the evil they have done to people and no justice has been done?? You would have love and peace after what you've been through as a slave?

I would not love them for sure, through I would not be like them, As an elf, I would try to not use my hatred to justify hatred against humans, it's waste of time, we can't win a war against them, you should try another approach, besides, see the Qunari, it's not about human be ''evil'', is the whole world of Dragon Age.

So much straw everywhere looks almost like a man

Welcome back, master, long time no see, huh?

I think they'll still use the Keep system for importing purpose, but I agree that the events of the previous game/s should have little effects on the game, since the setting in Tevinter can help in leaving a lot of those choices away without making them meaningless. Though we don't know if Solas will have a preminent role in the next one or they'll slowly build up his plot for a later game.

Patrick Weekes has stated that the next game will conclude Solas' story, so he will have a prominent role in DA4.

They deserved to be hated for the right reasons. But the best thing us to leave Thedas and never come back.

Who is "they"? Does even the human slave deserve to be hated by elves?

I'll take that as an affirmative. You seem to be a fan of racial generalizations.

Well, you replied to a similar post of mine like this before:

The "human race" is made from the misery of elves and if a "human" is struggling to make it and a world is made for them, they need to ask some serious questions of why they're poor and miserable. Me personally I think is karma biting them in the ass.

You should hate the elves too, they had enslaved themselves.

Technically, if he cares about the current elves, he might not care for the ancient ones. As Solas considers the ancient elves his people and not the current one :P

The Ancient Elves are irrelevant. Their context doesn't even exist anymore. Nobody even remembers anymore.
