I imagine magic to be allowed among certain restrictions to avoid large destruction maybe wards? And since tev is a meritocracy(loosely) I wouldn't be suprised if they used the arena as a form of punishment meant to redeem

I don't know about that, but they probably have the place so heavily warded its impossible to magically damage the structure.

Yes! (Though that would likely be confined to a cutscene. I can't see that happening in real time with this game engine. >_>)

 

Also, you think magic is allowed in the arena? Probably. Maybe only the super special matches are just two mundanes facing each other.

 

And I still want them to use magic and engineering to flood the thing like the coliseum and reenact naval battles against the Qunari. Though they'll prolly do it with actual captured qunari. >_>

 

Oh, you know I bet there are ground level, underground-accessible box seats for the ambassadoria. Like, basically the best seats in the house for some types of matches.

 

... There's also likely fights to the death and such, which I am not ok with, but I do like the idea of a sporting arena, so...

Haven't seen the new series heard it was good. Too many shows not brought time

I'm not the one to ask. I kinda hated the new series. lol The art is gorgeous, the new 1920s style setting is cool, and I like Korra, Tenzin, and Lin Beifong. But the plot and romance directions were... bleh.    Particularly anything Mako-related.

yes and no. I believe it's merely basic glance at historical history devoid of any cultural nuances that our world has. In place for pure shock value and hurrdurr evil lulz.

Da wasn't supposed to go far origins was set to be a proper end had it not got the popularity and ea funding.
