Here's some for those curious about the Ambassadoria in the Tevinter Imperium;
"Tevinter has enjoyed a long and fruitful alliance with the dwarven empire. The lyrium trade is the primary reason for their close alliance, and the magic-centric Imperium is mainly dependent on Orzammar to meet its immense demand. Dwarves also provided the Imperium with golems, the most notable of which are the trio of Juggernauts that protects Minrathous. Except the trade alliance, it is also known that the dwarves helped Tevinter during the Fourth Blight by lifting the siege of Marnas Pell and they received many accolades of the ruling Archon, one dwarf even became a Paragon."
"Many surface dwarves live in the Imperium, not considered citizens but rather foreign dignitaries, even if their houses have existed in the Imperium for ages. The Tevinter Imperium hosts numerous dwarven embassies, since the days of Archon Darinius and his alliance with the founding kings of the dwarven empire, Orseck Garal and Endrin Stonehammer. There are dwarven embassies in every major city, much like dwarven settlements in other countries in Thedas. However, Tevinter dwarves have their own branch of government, the Ambassadoria, unlike dwarves in other countries. Ambassadoria representatives are elected by the dwarves to advise the Archon and the Magisterium. The Ambassadoria is more of a lobbying group than a parliament."
"Dwarven embassies in Minrathous, Neromenian, and Qarinus are entirely underground and are considered by dwarves to reside within the Stone, allowing those in the embassy to retain their caste. Some dwarves serving in Tevinter embassies never leave these underground fastnesses. No dwarves are known to be kept as slaves in the Imperium, presumably due to their fundamental importance to the Imperium in providing lyrium. They can also be hired by homes as overseers to the household's slaves."
"Despite this close alliance, there are two known cases in which some of the dwarves secretly breached this pact. The first was with providing safe harbor in Cadash Thaig for the ancient elves who were fleeing after the destruction of Arlathan. The dwarves of Kal-Sharok were informed of this so they attacked Cadash thaig and killed everyone in order to hide all the evidence from the Imperium. The second occasion was when Amaranthine was held by the Avvars. The Imperium at that time were trying to conquer Ferelden and the dwarves secretly traded with the Avvars beneath Amaranthine." - The Wikipedia (Tevinter Imperium)

it's called a divorce with kids lol.The Imperial Chantry and the Orlesian Chantry can appear to be amusingly petty in regards to one another since it is stated that they refuse to acknowledge each other's authority but also that they do seek legitimacy from each other by repeatedly trying to make the other acknowledge their authority.
This gives the rather amusing impression of the old joke of two people ignoring each other but insisting on sending passive agressive messages to each other by using a third person as a go-between.

It's not going to happen, but I'd like the option of changing Tevinter from the inside, without making it fall. Qunari still want to invade and conquer Thedas, and I think it'll be easier if they conquer Tevinter. And constant rebellions would make their job easier.
Not that I mind the option of rping from a slave point of view. In any case I doubt we're going to change that much or destroy Tevinter in DA4. Unless they want to make the next big plot about the Qunari invasion, which I'm not sure they'll do it, considering we had already twice something related (DA2 and Trespasser).

But it's always with ominous warnings with something like "You haven't seen anything yet"...
Maybe not the next game, but something big with the Qunari will happen...

The fact that he or others disagrees on your views on the portrayals of elves and slavery in Thedas (or other possible stuff irl) doesn't mean we can't agree with you one other matters related to DA, as the views on Tevinter.

Yeah, I do think they'll eventually do a DA game with the qunari plot as the central focus. I just think that since the last two games both treated the plot in some ways, they might wait for implementing it.

We've always agreed on slavery... and everyone here has. It's just your need to transfer it to real life and embrace so much hate. It makes me sad. You're not looking at potential friends in daily life it seems. There's people around that you'd probably like if given the chance.
Life isn't as bad as you make it out to be. A lot of people have worked to improve it.

The Imperial capital, Minrathous is famously protected by a trio of gigantic war golems purchased from the dwarves. Said golems are known as the Juggernauts. I know what I hope we'll be seeing.
I would also like to note that the Tevinter Imperium use elephants and dracolisks as mounts with the latter serving as cavalry mounts. Here's hoping to seeing both as well.
I am fond of the dracolisks with their oddly ugly cute appearance but why am I not surprised to hear that the creature that look like the offspring of a horse and a dragon may originate from Tevinter Imperium and is likely the result of an experiment of theirs?
Considering the hybrid experiments theorized and attempted, however, I suppose we are not in a place to wag our fingers with disapproving frowns... although the non-fictional attempts may have been kinder due to the methods and technology avaliable- I'm getting distracted.

Hopefully they keep the qunari war in a book it's just fluff..

Maybe that works. I don't know.
So far, their novels tell better stories than the games anyways.

I think they are a man made attempt at a horse. That's fine if you don't I just share my opinions of how I feel, and you know what I've noticed? People want to go along with the flow and if you have a dissenting opinion people will be pissed off. And here I thought this forum encourages free thinking. I was wrong on that one.The fact that he or others disagrees on your views on the portrayals of elves and slavery in Thedas (or other possible stuff irl) doesn't mean we can't agree with you one other matters related to DA, as the views on Tevinter.

I think there will be some change, even if it's not what many players, or even someone like Dorian, would prefer.
Concerning the Qunari, the next game could have a structure similar to DAI, that is where the loose ends of the previous game are tied up in the first act (the mage/templar conflict), and then we move onto the main focus. In the case of DA4, we might resolve the Solas issue and then have to deal with the Qunari.
OR, we could just have a huge clusterf--- in dealing with the threat of attacking Qunari and Solas's plan. Remember, the Trespasser epilogue slides state that the Qunari have renewed their interest in Tevinter. I am highly expecting the Qunari to play a significant part in the next game. If the Qunari damage the Imperium to such a degree, they might not have any choice but to implement some changes because their current way is unsustainable.
I've said this in this thread before, but it actually would be the perfect time for a slave revolt. In times past, the Imperium has brutally smashed such revolts. But if the Qunari are hitting Tevinter hard, their forces might be divided such that they wouldn't have the resources to focus on two fronts -- external AND internal -- at the same time. Keep in mind that slaves will also be part of the machinery of war: front-line grunts, supply chains, messengers, errand boys/girls, repairing equipment, and so on. Tevinter needs slaves and they will need them to fight the Qunari.
Let's say that, by the Maker's grace, the Qunari are beaten back, but that much of the infrastructure of the Imperium is destroyed, including a large part of their slavery apparatus. What to do?
Change will come. It only remains to determine the when and how.

I'd blame that one on themselves. Remember their more tech and science less magic so they might have made themselves through selective breeding(which the do) , somebody $!#:&ed a dragon and boom bunch a horny bastards are born. They could have infused dragon blood itself into them and became reavers that eventually mutated the while somehow, or maybe they are dragons gained sentience and shaped into the current raceI bet the Tevinters made the Qunari too, out of some freakish experiment.
