Not necessarily, at least in this regard, The writer of the books already had a succubus in the books. They just followed his work.
I still don't see how a lust demon/succubus is a proof or having imagination. It's basically one of the most common type of demons in most media.

Aww why you always have to go spoiling my fun? :(

I know. Fair enough though. Considering the type of world of TW I think it's a close enough resemblance, though they're not obviously the same thing as the most common succubus.

Yes, through i think that the ''diabolic/divine demon'' is more fun than a ''race demon.'' They look like more dangerous.
Slaneesh for example, N7 Phantom would like him, or her, well...it. e_e

I didn't mean to spoil anything. I just stated that CDPR didn't create the succubus in TW but just adapted what was already present in the books, and that succubus are quite common to encounter in different media, so Bioware not following that model doesn't mean they don't have imagination.

Well, I do personally think the former is more interesting then the latter (since I like a lot angelic/demonic stuff). I just means the TW version are closer to his vision then the DA version.

They can still spice it up. It doesn't have to be generic and dull.

Generic in design yes, but in character I don't think so.

Desire is pretty general trait. It's the same thing that lured Connor to save his dad. Which has nothing to do with sex.

Yup, if you want to be king, it's a desire.

Oh. Good point^

I would like to see what Tevinter healing is like. I'm curious is they utilize spirit healing like the South does with their spirit healing.

Also, on a broader scale, I'm curious what Tevinter healthcare is like. Do they have healers that work in hospital like settings? Can certain noble families retain the services of a notable healer? Can healers work for the Archon, i.e. the government, or can they have privately owned practices?

Even further, I wonder what other vocational jobs and roles mages can fill within the Imperium.

Well the south believed in humourism( load horseshat tbh) and they have surgeon's aswell explicitly stated by riodan "a physcian" so they have proper medicine relatively.

And I'm sure the state employed slaves serve a menagerie of jobs.

And I also think healers are general practitioners so they both have practices as well conceirge, all about who has coin. Example being the private tutors Dorian had while he was being a celebrity child

spit mage or squirt mage haha

But jokes aside; odd how she was able hide it especially in kirkwall near was was essentially a nexus of fade stuff. And also curious why most families don't do serious genealogy like the hints do

The humor theory is at least a step in the right direction.

Like the Skyhold physician...

I hold that Rogues will one day be the real healers. Not the damn mages. They're the true scientific class. :P

I kinda forgot what we were talking about in this thread so I just left... honestly this place is the only thing keeping me around here I keep trying to get into DA:I more or whatever and just failing. I really don't know how they managed to make something so boring but I've criticized it way too much for that any rate, it just takes awhile to adjust to the reality that modern Bioware is boring I guess.

Oh yeah! the Red Wizards of Thay Tevinter!

You're right. BioWare is boring because their DA games are stale and frustrating to play, especially gameplay where combat is dull.

I feel kinda the same but I finally upgraded and doing a canon run but it does feel off somewhat. My motto is "it's just a game no more no less lets play tag instead"

I almost quit when that thing appeared. Fantasy logic etc but when you use bullshit to support a pseudo science that killed people and couldn't respond... I'm out.

I hate the very concept of humorism. Like there's some organ that says "oh I'm sad I'll make the whole body sad" is nuts.

Disclaimer: not dissing those with depression satire was short notice and missing context. Apologies for potential offense"

I said it was my motto lol. I do my own altruism and while this is a nice spring board it's solely entertainment for me sides I enjoy card games more than video games
