The elves deserve independence without human influence whatsoever now they could have temporary alliance for fighting darkspawn but that's it. And if the humans want to start **** by killing elves and provoking them if any kind, they have the right to unleash the hammer of God upon them. My motto is: Don't start no **** it won't be none.Already been tried. Didn't work. Nor could it have worked. A refusal to engage in commerce, diplomacy and mutual assistance gave the Orlesians no reason (or for that matter ability) to talk out a border dispute that was only the latest in centuries worth of such things. If the Orlesians were winning, the Dales lack of contact with Ferelden meant that they could not call on the only nation with something to gain by ensuring they remained where they were for assistance. If the Orlesians were losing, then the Ferelden would be frightened enough to attack creating a two front war.

Anyway another query
If the old gods are no longer a recognized faith what are potential legal issues regarding a open propenat
What's a propenat?
Anyway... I don't think that Old Gods' worshipers have a place on the current Tevinteran society, Aurelian Titus was screwed anyway, not only the Qunari wanted his head, the Black Divine also wanted to hunt him down as I recall.

It won't change and it never will. Think about it: If they keep the status quo that benefits them why would they want to change a system that they getting the benefits of a evil system?I think that to Tevinter the status quo is sacred. While they aren't winning the war with the Qunari, they aren't losing as well. While the rest of Andrastian Thedas hates them, they aren't waging war against them. Tevinter is essentially a necessary evil for most of Thedas, just like the Grey Wardens. While the Wardens hold of the Darkspawn, Tevinter holds of the Qunari. With the new war now, changes are on the horizon. The world was radically altered in Inquisition, I imagine that Tevinter will soon change as well, for good or ill and whether it wants to or not.

Just to add not much changes in orlais so tevinter will will possibly be the same
It depends on what Bioware wants canonized, I guess. For example, Orlais didn't change much, but depending on choices the Chantry can change a lot. Of course, there's the suspicion that a lot of those changes will be nullified later, but we know of at least one change that is common in every world state: the mages are divided between the Circle and the College.
In a nutshell: the changes that matter are those that the player doesn't decide.
Regarding Tevinter, Bioware could choose among many plot points that could cause a revolution in the statu-quo without player input, from canonizing the abolition of slavery to the discovery of the secrets of Qunari weaponry. It depends a lot on the kind of plot they have in mind for the game.

I don't think Ferelden as a nation existed at that time. This is before Calenhad.Already been tried. Didn't work. Nor could it have worked. A refusal to engage in commerce, diplomacy and mutual assistance gave the Orlesians no reason (or for that matter ability) to talk out a border dispute that was only the latest in centuries worth of such things. I'd love to see a shapeshifting Dragon.... And a shapeshifting Nug
So that means its true form is a dragon, which occasionally transforms into other species.

Well, one of my first theories about Flemeth was that she was a Great dragon that learned to take on human form.So that means its true form is a dragon, which occasionally transforms into other species.

I don't know how likely it is now, since the Evanuris were purportedly mortal creatures with extremely powerful magic. However I can see some of the eldest dragons being capable of changing into human form. Perhaps the dragonic creatures we call the Old Gods were capable of such magic.I wonder if dragons of ages long enough are cpavle of such. And wonder if the elfs were dragons

Its possible they were all dragons, and when we say "human form" it doesn't necessarily mean the race human. It means humanoid form, so they appeared as elves to elves and appeared as humans to humans.

That reminds me... Tevinter is the greatest center of magic in modern Thedas and yet they can't defeat the Qunari.
What is their enemy's advantage? Technology.
All true followers know that she is a dragon.
Exactly. And humans unfortunately are obsessed with magic. Even when they hate it. They don't think about other things... or give themselves time to.

I actually like the old gods mythos as Well the dalish pantheon and oddly ameridans concept(go figure right lol). Its a lot more straight forward and at least honest.
But I wonder if we can venerate a old God perhaps lusacan God of mystery
This is when I actually start agreeing with N7Phantom.
There's nothing good about those gods.
I only put N7 on ignore because he's homicidal. lol
