Xenon... the Antiquarian. Right?

Yeah, living that long but as some immobile bag of bones.... Not worth it to me.

Whatever Xenon is, I don't envy him.

Yavana was apparently the one he went to.

In the Silent Grove comic, she's apparently capable of bringing back someone who had been recently killed and binding their soul to their corpse, which she uses to gain information by threatening to leave someone like that if they didn't cooperate.

She probably did the same thing to Xenon albeit when he was alive, turning him into a lich by "locking" his soul in his own body, so it kept him alive long past the point that his body should have given up the ghost from extreme old age.

Her ability to manipulate souls, like Flemeth, makes me wonder whether or not she actually died now... she might have used the Dragon to store something of herself inside, since it is shown "breathing" on her after everyone leaves her fallen body?

I also think she jumped in the Dragon, upon dead she dropped a white smoke, which is gone on when the Queen is smelling her.

Speaking of dead souls, I wonder if the concept of binding a soul into a body, or an object can be naturally reached through Lyrium, the Anvil of the Void was near a vein of Lyrium, the Rock Wraiths are presumably dwarves that were overexposed to it, Leliana and (arguably) Renn came back from death thanks to it.

Even if Dumat was somehow positive, his high priest was pretty messed up right off the bat.

Not necessarily though. His servant's recollections make him seem much more humane and not that bad of a person. It's the whispers from "Dumat" that drove him nuts.

But was that actual resurrection though? She bound his soul to a corpse, but I don't think it was really resurrection though.

In theory, it's not unlike what the Mortalitasi do, except that they use simple spirits. I don't see why they couldn't necessarily perform a similar feat like what Yavana did.

That said, I don't think she could necessarily pull the Horcrux that Flemeth did, cause Flemeth has Mythal in her, which would boost her powers exponentially and Yavana didn't (as far as we know). I do think she's legitimately dead, and if nothing else, paves the way for Morrigan to be "The One".

That wasn't the Queen though. Pretty sure the Queen was already out and about in Thedas by the time Alistair and co. arrived the Grove.

If she's anything like the Mother of Dragons in ASOIAF... you don't tame the Queen, she tames you.

Not sure, I think the evidence points out that she is.

-Claudio said that they didn't want to kill the Dragon because she was what they were interested on, and Titus' plot was using Great Dragon blood to brainwash the world.

-Yavana did say "my" Queen of Dragons while she was standing in front her, she also did not attack Alistair (nor his companions) the first time they met, something that "Andraste" did.

-She is, by far, the biggest Dragon we've seen, I'm on an IPad right now, and the img tag is not working, however you can check the size comparsion on this thread .

Wouldn't that count as some kind of zoophilia? Oh, well, I think the same goes for aliens.

Nope, technically he laid her ten years before that, and still she is a human who shapeshifts on a Dragon, if Flemeth's prank was true or if Yavana did body-jump on her Dragon, that would be a Dragon shapeshifting on human.

Servants. You mean slaves.

^ While the actual definition of the word refers to employment, I think the game is a bit unclear on its own use of the word. For example, Dorian refers to his "servants" in the Trespasser letter. Is it referring to people he employs, rather than slaves? Is he simply being polite or saying it for the Inquisitor's benefit? Did he in fact free his slaves?

It's not clear one way or the other.

[edit]
I believe he also uses it in one of the banters alluding to an incident in his childhood.

If I'm gonna criticize Dorian (a good guy with bad rationalizations), then I have worse words for ancient magisters.

Like I pointed out earlier, I'm not all different from N7Phantom really.... except for not being a maniac. :P You could call me militant about the slave topic.. even the "well employed" ones.
