Aside from Minrathous, what parts of Tevinter do you guys really want to see? Personally, I'm very curious about the hundred pillars. Pillars that are not stone, but apparently some kind of unique substrate not seen anywhere else. It has me intrigued.  Also want to see the ruins of Barindur/the Silent Plains.

Other than the places others have mentioned, I'd like to see Asariel and Vyrantium.

I'd like to visit Qarinus. We got a taste in the comics, but it was hardly enough. It seems like its status as an independent kingdom before Darinius came along gives it sort of a unique flavor from the rest of the Imperium.

Aside from that, I would like to go inside a Tevinter Circle. We haven't been in a Circle since DAO, so I want to see how the portrayal of mage life differs. I don't really count the limited view we got of the Gallows in DA2, as we were never able to see where the mages lived and studied, as we did in DAO.

I'm pretty sure that a strange tale lies behind the existence of the Hundred Pillars, since they are not a natural feature, yet not a typical construction even by Magisters.   I think that Qarinus would be interesting to visit and since it lies on the east side of Tevinter, it would be a useful jumping off point for visiting the Arlathan Forest as well.   I'm fairly convinced that we will visit there as some point if the Qunari/Tevinter war had any sort of importance to the plot in the next game.   Qarinus has always been of strategic importance in the east and has been on the front line in the past when the Qunari have attacked.   It has also struck me that if the Qunari wanted an element of surprise, they could do worse than land forces under the cover of Arlathan Forest (assuming the coastline there permits it).

It would be interesting to see what life is like outside the main Tevinter cities on the coast, perhaps in the area some of the lesser ones inland.    I'd be interested to know what the economy is that drives Solas (city) or Perivantium.    I'm hoping that they make Tevinter seem sufficiently exotic and different from the architecture and culture that we have encountered up to now.

One of the most disappointing things about the concept art and fashion descriptions for Tevinter is the lack of colour.   This is apparently because magic rules in Tevinter but I fail to see why this has to equate to dark colours.  Does wanting to appear a scary Magister mean you have to be dressed in black?  Of course it meant that Dorian's light and bright clothing could show his rebellious nature going against the norm but that could equally have been shown through a unique style of his own, which in fact he does have.  Given the part of the world they come from is meant to be much warmer, I'd like to see lighter fabrics, with an emphasis on bright silks and looser fitting.   When it comes down to it, if someone is going to hit you with magic, then a bit of armour isn't going to help you, nor will it turn a blade if it is thrust in the right place.    Whereas if you walk about in fancy robes that appear not to give protection, it conveys the idea that you can cope with anything thrown at you.   Besides robes can be enchanted.     So this is one bit of lore that I hope they do alter when we get to Tevinter

I think the lack of color is intended to contrast them with the Orlesians as well as add to the vaguely Victorian vibe.

Black and white seem particularity prominent for the nobility. If the comics are any indication.

Needs more spiky architecture. From what we've seen of old vint stuff... and the venatori... they like things sharp, spiky, and pointy. Very edgy stuff.

I really hope that was just an old fashion the venatori tried to bring back. I'd rather have the raven feather shoulders from DAO than the pointy robes in DAI.

I thought the symbolism of him wearing white, not only in the game but in promotional materials, was pretty clear that he was supposed to represent the "good" Tevinter.

Tevinter. They may wear black and white, but I'm sure we'll find out their people are anything but.

Such obvious symbolism is a bit heavy handed but I definitely got it when the promotional material came out.     Still you have to admit that if all the buildings look austere and the people are all dressed in black, it is going to be a bit dreary.   The figures in WoT1 are clearly in party dress, well the woman is, and it certainly looks impressive, but to go around every city and location and find people dressed in the same dull colours is going to be monotonous.   May be Dorian will have started a trend among the Lucerni.   He talks about taking them shopping so may be he is going to encourage an entirely new fashion trend.   I do hope so.   You see, if the locals are all dressed in dreary black and dark grey, that means any stuff I pick up is going to be the same and of course if you don't want to stand out like a sore thumb, you are going to have to keep it that way.   Even so, if they have crafting in the next game, I can see I'm going to be busy tinting stuff to give my PC a unique feel.   Blending in be damned.

I really don't want a prosthetic, especially one used as a deus ex machina so the Inquisitor can fight.

If the Inquisitor was to show up, I'd prefer to have them capable of showing they are still formidable in a fight. Maybe they use some other means to quickly dispatch an enemy or an assassin after them... and only then do they walk over and attach their prosthetic arm that's still lying on the table?

The Inquisitor showed multiple times during DAI they can think on their feet, so this is already within their characterisation.

Rather than fight directly, they kept Corypheus busy monologing so they could trigger a landslide with the catapult, defenestrated a harlequin with a running kick in the Winter Palace and used either Morrigan or the tamed dragon to fight the faux-Archdemon. Likewise when they had the Anchor, we saw them take advantage of it's abilities tactically in several cutscenes to even the odds by opening tears, throwing ambushers or enemies off-balance and allow the Inquisitor's party to gain the upper hand.

Why should having only one hand make them any less adept at using unorthodox methods to turn situations to their advantage?

It would be nice to have a returning Inquisitor demonstrate some kind of proficiency and combat ability outside of cutscenes, although that might require them reducing the classes down so that Rogues are limited to single daggers, Warriors to a sword and Mages to using a Staff one-handed. Would also require unique animations to reflect the loss of limb, similar to Kreia in KOTOR2?

I'm pretty sure Kreia still used the standard one weapon animation. I think I'd prefer the Inquisitor to show off their competency in a different way though.

My earlier stated idea is that the Inquisitor's portions would be all dialogue, puzzles, and maybe some MotA espionage segments. They would also have access to a war table interface of some kind that would allow them to make changes that affect the world the new PC would be exploring in significant ways.

The Inquisitor would still be an effective and active force in the world, still formidable, just not on the front lines of the battlefield.

Some did, some said they were off to save the world (again), and some didn't specify. And everyone is planning in the basement at the end of the credits, no matter what they stated publicly. No Inquisitor is truly retired, regardless of what they said at the end of the Council. The question now is not "Will they have a role in the next game?", but rather "What form will their role take?". NPC, Playable Character, and Cameo via Letter are all options.

I must say, it will be interesting to cooperate with Tevinter for the very first time.

In three games in a row, they were our enemies. The slave traders in Denerim's alienage, Daenerius/Hadriana and then the Venatori.

To each their own. I think I need to watch Loony Tunes now. :P

Those were just genius. I feel bad for anyone that doesn't catch the reference: "Duck season, rabbit season".

Oh....and that episode where Daffy Duck assaults a genie believing that he wants his gold, then gets shrunk down as punishment and still continues to be a greedy jerk by claiming a pearl to himself.

Not a guarantee. It's entirely possible that we may never see such a thing. The Magister did sink that bad boy into the very earth, utterly eradicating it. Plus, when the Veil went up, much of their magical things fell into disarray, so it's possible everything might have been laid to utter waste even before the mages sunk the city.
