I'm not a Tevinter*Whispers among the assembly on split decisions* magisters order, order. We must sent a spy to the inquisition to gather more intel before we make a decision
Though I guess I'm not necessarily your enemy, since I'm a Warden
Assuming Dumat has nothing to do with this mess, of course.Fear not Magisters of Tevinter. Dumat will protect us from the darkness. His light a golden beacon to guide us. With that said there is no consequence to great, we must do what is necessary. The outcome will favor us, Dumat has shown me this.

Hold your bias Warden. Dumat favors your kind. After all it was your ilk who released his physical avatar and those of the other gods from the madness of the taint.
Dumat is not dead. A god cannot die. SO misinformed. The only death was a corrupted physical shell. Dumat speaks to those who will listen, and rewards those who are faithful. He roams a realm of gods, realm of Gold and Light far beyond the fade.
Do you know why it is that he is called Silence? His true form and power so mighty and so impressive that it cannot be comprehended by mortal minds, silence is all that exists before he speaks, and the peace and solace that remains is silence when his will be done. Dumat is quite alive and far beyond what even I his high priest can comprehend. For a misguided and uneducated mundane to make the claim that he is "dead" is a heresy worse than the Qun and quite frankly false.

I'm not that sure. He's dead, Josie.
We'll see about that, Magister.Hold your bias Warden. Dumat favors your kind. After all it was your ilk who released his physical avatar and those of the other gods from the madness of the taint.

Also, I don't trust you're so called 'God' since he's The one who sent your ancestors in becoming darkspawn.

Was that supposed to scare me
?
Also? Cory was a powerful Magister as well. It doesn't change The fact he became a monster.
I don't care who's going to research The thing. It might still bite your ass, as The Blight did with all thedas.
The issue around this "Corypheus" is still vague. What we know from the old archives and from people who have seen him is confusing. I would guess he is a Magister of old, but instead of being in the "golden city" I believe he was just infected by taint long ago and went mad. Probably he lived in the age when this story of supposed breach done by Magisters was new and took his idea from there. Because he was a powerful Magister Warders had to contain him with powerful blood spells drawing power from demons. No wonder he survived all these centuries, those spells and his taint kept him alive. Besides, I don´t put much faith to this "Champion of Kirkwall" and his ragtag band of friends, when it comes to getting clear information.

ive looked through all records in the tower and there is no reference to anyone named corypheus surnmane or title.... i suspect its just a extremly powerful. EmmisaryBut of course not my dear Warden, Like our First Enchanter said, you are a honored guest of a honored order. I would never try to threaten our guests.

I love how so many heretics jump to the conclusion that Dumat is dead.
There is ZERO evidence that our great lord has perished.

agreed was it not the white chantry saying it was the tevinters fault but were they not tevinter at one pointThis...Corypheus is nothing more than anti Tevinter propaganda. The creature in question is no doubt some darkspawn with some magical talents.

Zero evidence indeed. In fact the fact he actively communes with us I would say proves the opposite. Gods cannot die, and Dumat is no mere god, but the lord of all the gods.

Think about it: normal emissaries are very different from Cory and The Architect.

I believe the two most important Tevinters are Archon Darinis & Archon Thalsian. Darinis was the first archon, founded the imperium, and was the first human to ally with the dwarves. Thalsian was one of the first magisters, made contact with Dumat to learn blood magic, established the temples for old god worship, and created altus as the ruling class.

Considering what we found out about Arlathan Elves in TME, it's a likely possibility.
