I still don't understand why she doesn't have a romance tile. I mean, she tells you her first name, invites you out on a date, gives you a gift of entrails, and even Vivienne brings her up in Trespasser... unleeesss they're holding out on us until DA4. One can hope!

Because the devs didn't plan her out as a full-fledged romance like all of the others... I understand people like her and everything, but it is certainly nowhere near the same level of involved content as all of the other, official romances have.

Right now, the Keep can only track what it tracks. I'd suggest that any such tile related to her might have to be edited manually in the tapestry, which may cause players to miss it if they just load up with a DAI save and run.

But, you know, DA4 is still a long ways away. There is still plenty of time to add Keep tiles and also make whatever other changes that have been suggested. For example, I don't like that the Bull tile for Trespasser is only betray yes/no, when the "no" doesn't make sense, in the current wording, if he was not recruited; I would like a third tile for that. Other things have been suggested as well.

I think the Bull being recruited is covered by the tiles in the main game.   So if he wasn't recruited, then the Keep ought not to be recording anything in the Trespasser part for Bull (it should be blacked out).   The default might be that he betrays you because it is possible he could just turn up on behalf of the Viddasala as part of his instructions from HQ.   So the only scenario where he isn't dead is where you recruit him and then make him Tal-Vashoth.

I was disappointed they didn't include whether you freed the dragon or not as a recorded decision because I was hoping she might turn up in the next game and be able to be an ally because of the mercy that you showed to her.

The Keep doesn't work like that. There are no blacked out tiles for anything; there is always some variable. If a quest wasn't complete, or you didn't encounter some NPC, there is a tile for that too in those certain cases. The default world state has most of these since they go with the barest bones possible for simplicity's sake. They also don't assume anything. Sure, Bull is still with the Qun, but he is not there in the scene. Even if he were there -- "Hey, remember me? You didn't wanna hire my mercs. Kinda regret that now, huh?" -- it's still not a "betrayal" of the Inquisitor since he was never with the Inquisition.

The Keep is a program with yes/no decisions. There are no fun headcanon ways to get around things.

The default is only set to betray because the main game has him as not recruited. That's fine. That's not what my issue is. My issue is that it doesn't make sense for it to say betray when there was no betrayal in that case, hence my desire for a third tile. They added one (didn't encounter) for the dwarf noble options regarding Mardy after feedback, so it's possible they might make adjustments.

Anyway... rah, rah, Tevinter. Archon Radonis is pretty awesome. I do hope we see him in DA4 and he has an awesomely sexy voice to go along with that swarthy hotness.

I know, but I guess I feel she's as tacked-on as Sebastian so I keep hoping she'll get a tile someday. :P

Eh, I'll be happy to kill Radonis if it helps Calpernia. I'm not well-inclined towards those invested in the status quo.

That's strange because when I first went to the keep after completing the game, there was nothing but blacked out tiles for quests I hadn't done or which hadn't transferred properly to the Keep.   To find out what should have been there, and thus if it was a bugged transfer, I had to go to the spoilers reveal button.   Which is why I thought that Bull would simply be blacked out if you never recruited him in the main game.   Guess I was wrong.

His "betrayal or not?" would be if you went in and turned spoilers on. Recruitment, I think not, though.

Then he still sucks in comparison to Tevinter Leliana.

I didn't she was bad. She just has few principles and the approval system is crap. I have to pretend she's stronger than she is.

The same goes for the entire Inquisition. It stands for jack ****. It's just some umbrella organization for everything under sun. I have to pretend it means something more than that.

Then he still sucks in comparison to Tevinter Leliana.

Repentine changed might often backlash and generate a worse situation. Expecially considering that the Chantry as a whole isn't exactly on the same opinion of Leliana. A slow change through time might be better.
We'll see in the future if and how they differentiate between the various Divines' policies, and if they'll state one had a better run compared to the others.

Is the Archon a hereditary position or is the person elected in by the Magisterium.

Normally hereditary.  The Archon names a successor, either a blood relation or an apprentice.  Should the Archon die without naming an heir, the Magisterium elects a new one.

The Archon is normally succeeded by a member of his family, whether son, nephew, brother, etc.  I don't think it automatically passes to the closest relative because he can nominate who his official heir is.   It can even be from among his apprentices but if they are low born that is likely to cause trouble with the Altus.  I'm guessing the few Laetans Archons have come about through nomination by the previous Archon rather than election by the Magisterium.

If he dies without naming an heir then the Magisterium elect a new Archon, but apparently he cannot come from within their ranks or hold a rank in the Chantry, which I imagine must narrow the field a bit if he is going to come from the Altus.

What I am not clear about is why the Archon can only be a man.   In old Tevinter before the Imperium you could have an High Queen, so I can only assume it is because Darinius, the first Archon, was a man and so they have run with that ever since.    Presumably that is why the Black Divine can only be a man as well because originally the Archon also held the role of Divine and it was only when they differed to the southern Chantry that they separated the two roles.   Then for a time they only had the southern Divine as their Divine and when they broke away, they made sure the Black Divine was a man just to make a point.     It is strange how a society that originally was not inherently patriarchal, became more so after Andraste since there were High Priestesses of the Old Gods.

Tevinter prides it's history, and traditions that are ancient are therefore more significant. Tevinter doesn't or intentionally doesn't know it's entire history. The 'war' with Arlathan was a scavenging hunt. Tevinter may not have always been the way it is, but because those traditions are so ingrained and part of their cultural identity, to change them is akin to changing history, which we all know Tevinter prides greatly.

For the past two weeks I've been binge watching history documentaries..

My conclusion is that revolutions are bad. At least for awhile. Not sure that toppling something as old and large as Tevinter (if you were so inclined) would be a good idea anymore.
