I don't know.. I'm more worried about "Winter". She seems like the perfect person to help.

Despite hating some of the writing, I end up staying interested because I want to see all of it come to a head. Jon/Dany/Red Woman..

I'm not denying that she is a good character, it's just that I think her invasion of Westeros is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
Suppose she does succeed. Then what? Will the Westerosi look kindly on a queen who invaded their land with foreign mercenaries, savage barbarians, reaving pirates and three monstrous dragons? Who would want to marry an infertile woman? Power is certainly attractive, and having consorts and mistresses seems inevitable, but when she dies with no clear heir what will happen? Another civil war.
And I haven't even started on her inevitable decline into insanity...

Aside from the fact that "infertile" isn't guaranteed, nor is insanity (it's the Coin Flip of the Gods, not the Rigged Dice of the Gods), said infertility could well be magically cured. Not to mention that the Targaryens are the actual rightful holders of the Iron Throne; they built the damn thing. And again, I wouldn't necessarily care, but Stannis is a gigantic hypocrite when it comes to legitimacy, and Tommen is just a puppet.

I don't think it'll matter by the time she gets there. Sounds like the apocalypse at this point.

I'm curious about the bolded part.  Could you elaborate?

I'd love a Hardhome moment in the DA franchise at some point. That moment in the show was just absolutely terrifying. It was great.

Stannis whines his ass off about being the "rightful" king, despite the fact that his brother, whom he supported, murdered the rightful king (who would be Rhaegar after Jaime murdered Aerys) and almost all of his heirs, and then tried to murder the last two. Now, I do support Stannis over the Lannisters, but that's like supporting cholera over WW1-era swine flu. If you want to kill the king, kill the king, but then don't start whining about how you should be "rightfully" king, as you've clearly demonstrated you don't give a damn.

He wasn't originally that bad. Now even the actor has distanced himself from the show. lol

Stannis was kind of the more pragmatic Eddard. He was an honorable warrior, but not so honorable to get himself killed. And not as monstrous as things turned out with his daughter.

As much as I love Game of Thrones can we refocus on Tevinter? I wonder if they have magical drugs there. Aque Lucidius would've been fun to trip on and Tevinter has been around for longer and is more magical.

Yeah, sorry about that...

Your Hawke isn't back in Kirkwall?

Umm, was Hawke not still dealing with the Wardens by the end of Trespasser? Or was he back in Kirkwall? I can't remember.

He/she probably begged their Warden sibling to get the hell outta dodge of this GW civil war and went back to Kirkwall to avoid the drama.

If I were my elven Inquisitor I would offer the Imperium a chance to free the elven slaves within 30 days, and if they refuse I'll gather all Dalish Elves to go to war with the Qunari to aid them to invade Tevinter to take the people by force.

Signing up with the Qunari is a definite no, no.   They don't respect any philosophy/religion but their own.   They might humour you to think they are letting you have your own culture but they would turn on you in the end.    The Dalish submit to no one.    That wouldn't go down well with the Qun.

My own preference is to take a small force of Dalish up the east side of Tevinter, that is likely most under pressure from Qun inspired slave uprisings and sort of take the uprising out from under the control of the Qun.   (I'm suspecting that the Qun will have co-ordinated the uprisings to take place at exactly the same time as they launch their invasion to have maximum impact on Tevinter's ability to respond).   With each slave uprising that we commandeer, our forces increase until with have a significant slave army, totally free from either Tevinter or Qunari control.   Then we retake Arlathan Forest and dare anyone to come and take it back from us.     The longer the Qun and Tevinter are at each other's throats, the stronger our forces grow as elves join us from across Thedas.     Now that Solas is how it's done.

Of course the writers would never do this but I can but dream.

That's a great way to get all the Dalish elves killed.

Plus the Qunari would treat the Dalish just as bad if not worse than humanity has. So even if you win, you lose.

And once Tevinter is dealt with, the Qun will enslave the Dalish.

What a victory.

Why they want to enslave them? They take those who want to be in the Qun and the alliance is only temporary.

Because the Qun wants to enslave everyone. They see the Qun as the only culture that should exist. A culture like the Dalish would especially be on their radar, since they are led by mages.

With the Vints gone, nothing prevents the Qunari from launching onslaughts on all what remains, and the Dalish weren't strong enough to hold themselves on a war against the southern Chantry.
