What it tells us is that in a proper society like Tevinter, the strong and most capable rule. We make no excuses. Magisters are the power and the might therefore we make the decisions. The populace was overjoyed throughout the empire when we magisters regained power during the storm age.

And since you've so adequently proven it, I rest my case.

@EmperorSahlertz:  We know the truth eh?  Most magisters are just antiquated preening peacocks mired in the glory days of their decaying empire.

The truth is in Nevarra... the Mortalitasi will guide Thedas into a new age.  The Tevinters venerate their dead ancestors... but we listen to ours, hear their wisdoms, who better but us to help the misguided south?

We'll even let you Templars steamroll those southern mages - just, properly clean the towers before we move in eh?  Leave the bodies of the fallen Circle mages covered in white muslin... we'll be buy to collect them promptly for mummification.

Well, my username dates back to the days of Age of Empires. It did seem fitting back then. I just stuck with it since.

I just think it is quite telling that all the "supporters" of Tevinter, only seem to support it if they are themselves part of the elite. And that is quite telling about Tevinter society.

id support it eithier way its no worse that any other country in thedas. Only difference is its open about its corruption while other countries either whitewash it or pretend it doesnt exist

The difference is that the corruption in other nations CAN be punished. In Tevinter those that care do not have the power, and those that do have the power don't care.

Are all Nevarran's as unhinged as your pathetic frail excuse for a king. Or have you been indulging in embalming fluid, again?

If you're pitiful excuse for a nation tries to march on the Imperium your "Grand" Necropolis will find it does not have enough crypts to hold your dead.

you're pitiful armies were stopped by one man Cade Arvil. The mighty "nation" of Nevarra couldn't even take a city state. you're country is rotting like the abominations you let roam.

@Tevinter Soldier:  My dear friend, I believe one of your sex slaves pee-ed in your tea this morning.

You Tevinters can be so cranky - and we have our king right where we'd like him thank you.

Indeed! * stomps staff to the marble floor* Well said my good Magister!

Nevarra exists because the Imperium allows it. That status can be rectified if we deem it to be so.

Thedas exists because we allow it. And you shall end if we demand it.

If any of you get the chance. or doubt the sheer power of being an evil mage, look up Richard the Warlock. Hilarious.

Rp-ing as a Magister, Mortalitasi, etc is fun ^_^.  I'm not seeing the issue with us in particular considering we're literally doing the same thing just with different factions.

Funny how most of the Tevinter supporters picture themselves as part of the Magisterium. Quite telling, isn't it?

And I suspect the Orlais fans would picture themselves as royalty, a Chevalier at the very least. If you are picturing yourself in Thedas such things happen.

Personally I'd prefer a free mage not meddling in any politics and making mage babies <3

Guys you realize the Mortalitasi were founded my a Magister right? They are our secret agents working to undermine the nation closest to us. They essentially rule the country now that the king is old and useless. But be very careful. It's a secret.

@Ukki:  We'll take Tantervale one day and we'll make a great champion of our own from Cade Arvale's corpse. After all, we're not so foolishly prideful as you Tevinter.  We can recognize greatness, and we'll honor it eternally. But unlike Tevinter, our power grows so I can understand your need for immediacy.

And let us be fair, you can't pester us because you still haven't defeated the cattle-men of Seharron.

Now, calm yourself - you'll imbalance your humours.

Let us instead enjoy the conflict to the south.  The Circle mages are on the run like hares before the hounds.  Good sport I say.

Yeah, not many people picture themselves as a turnip farmer in Fereldan or a street merchant in Orlais.  :D

My my such factionizing among magi we should put aside these petty border disputes... for we are magi first. Let us show eachother the way to unity i say we align ourselves with the nevarran magi and set free the southern magi

Slaves are for labour, sure so of the "lesser" houses have been known to dalliance with their servants. But such Scandalous Behaviour is Beneath a Magister of my Stature. One should not mix business with pleasure, as they say. Besides if i require some TLC i shall pathetically beg the Lady of the house with promises to take her to sculptures by the sea or pretending to jealous of our new man servant and threaten to sell him to Magister Saron for use as he see's fit. which ever works.

I like to indulge myself with the presence of several beautiful female slaves of all races. I don´t discriminate. *dirty smile*

*leans back and takes another sip from the wine goblet*

Maybe I put myself in danger by doing so but it is part of life, eh? One of the perks from being a Magister.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with RP'ing a magister. They are intriguing for a reason. I am merely saying, that you don't see people falling ass over ****** to RP a slave who adores Tevinter culture. And that is quite telling of Tevinter culture.

Wrong. I've PM'd with people in this thread that the ideal origin for a game set in Tevinter would be a slave that rises through the ranks. Possibly becoming a Magister or Archon of the Imperium.
