Unless I openly hate on the Imperial Chantry I'm not sure it would be that big of a deal. I respect the philosophy.

On The topic of The mage-Templar war, Gaider's and Weekes' words confirm the fact that We probably won't get a Compromise option (with The tower for mages or templars in Skyhold it was already mind of confirmed We won't have The option).
Regardless of my opinion on The matter, I think it makes sense we won't have the option in DAI though, Considering The moment We deal with this plot.

Imperial forces have crushed the siege and released our Seheron troops from their agony. A large number of oxmen and their converts were destroyed and taken prisoners. This is a grand day for the Imperium indeed! 

Our forces have now increased the area we control of Seheron two fold. Prisoners (who have already been treated with proper blood mind spells) are currently being transported to the mainland as we speak with along the valuables. There will be a distribution of these items, slaves and goods in time. So be ready if you are interested. I have brought with me couple of oxmen who are now in my towers cells. I have new spells I want to test on them, designed especially for the oxmen. I hurried to the capital to get you this information.

 

*sits down weary, waves slave to bring wine*

 

I have to tell you though, these oxmen do deserve respect. I faced them in the battlefield and I have to tell you they truly do not have fear of death. I struck down dozens of them, including their Stens and Saarebas (poor bastards), and still they kept coming at me. For a moment I thought I had miscalculated my position but then my daughter came in with her shock troops and those cursed oxmen started to retreat from the battle.

 

*takes a sip from the wine*

 

The bad new is though that she seems to have grown fond of this mundane Seporati class man, a lieutenant. The boy is of low born and has no magical abilities what so ever in his family. *looks grim* I have to contain the situation one way or another before it gets worse. *taps fingers to the armrest*

The boy is a warhero though, even saved my daughters life twice. Mine too, he deflected a spear thrown at me with a shield when I was too exhausted to raise my magical shield. So I have to be careful with this.. maybe a accident... *falls in dark thoughts*
